2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I was really surprised that I was the winning bidder on this car, it has a book value of about $8K, it is the loaded version of the Spyder, GT. It is loaded with everything you can get on that model. Cute little red convertible, I looked it up on Edmunds and it sold new for $27K. The owner descirbed it accurately, the inside was perfect, leather interior with no tears, looks like a new top and everything works as new. Excellent experience, will look on EBAY for my next purchase.

i woudl like to start out bye saying that i did buy the car as is.. with that said i will also say he is a uused car dealer now to me a used car dealer should disclose if anything is wrong with the car especially if it can hurt someone, well when i bought the car i had just started mechanic school and did not know much about them but i sure found out quick.. the car drives fine it just had a squeek witch turned into a ibration very quickly and come to find the cars motor mount was bad and i had to purchase that witch was another 200 on top of my purchase price so all in all i think that it is a shadey business because he did not disclose the motor mount was bad.. but whatever

it needs alot of work
but for the price i think it was worth it
he put headers and an exhaust
and he told me all the problems
well nearly all
cruise doesnt work
brakes were worped
EGR valve needed replacing
and theres like some brake rub that you can feel in the pedal

Purchased vehicle for our 16 year old daughter. Had to drive 8 hours to pick up vehicle. Once auction complete, seller was very cooperative and easy to work with. Was up front about condition of vehicle and helpful in directions to car. Seller was waiting as promised on our arrival. Car was in much better condition then I expected. Am please with purchase and needless to say our daughter is ecstatic. Seller represented themselves honestly and professionally which made the transaction so much nicer. To date have only had to do a few minor repairs that would be expected but overall the car was exceptionally well taken care of. If all transactions, regarding vehicles, turned out as well as this one would not mind buying other vehicles on ebay. My decision to buy it was based on the overall condition of the car, the quick and honest responses of the seller during the transaction and the cost of the vehicle. I would recommend to anyone buying a vehicle on ebay to pursue questioning the seller and if uncomfortable or feel like the honesty just isn't there then don't proceed. Overall, this transaction was great for us.

Well the car that I purchased was used, but in excellent condition, but I have always loved eclipses, so I'm very happy with it regardless. Very fun to drive.

i went and checkecked the car out it was a little over 120 miles from my house the car had two different odometers it with 40,000 miles differnt shaked liked you would never beleive the canvas top needed replaced it was disgusting inside there was dents and dings and scratches undescribed in the listing like everything else i cant several flaws

A wonderful little sports car, peppy and fun to drive. Has some blind spots, but with a concave mirror its not a problem. Got this because of the raising gas price and wanted a 4 cylinder for work and around town.

I bought the car at 60,000 miles and drove it from Phoenix to San Francisco.
The car handles like a German sports car, the ride is very smooth at 90mph (I didn't try any faster. I averaged 29 mpg for the 800 miles trip running on low tire pressure (3 tires below 25 psi and 1 at 10 psi), due to the lack of preperation by the dealer who sold it. The 4 banger revs freely to redline, the short throw tranny shifts silky smooth. The only weakness is the back seat head room, you need to be less then 5'3" to fit without banging the glass. I bought it because of the style and price, it's well worth the $6,500 I paid.
I will not hesitate to buy it again.
