1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse

i would of liked to buy the vehicle unfortunately the description wasnt as described so the seller let me out of contract

Nothing to like as the car stopped running (engine burned out) after driving less than 100 miles. Fortunately, the car was covered by VPP and I was reimbursed the total price of the car. Did not get reimbursed for other expenses such as towing off of the Penn Turnpike, rental car to get back home, cost of mechanic to inspect and storage charges while waiting for VPP to investigate and make decision. Approximately $1,100.00. It would help if a buyer could get an inspection after bidding and before taking possession. It's expensive to get an inspection on every car you decide to bid on.
Decided to buy it because price seemed reasonable and i have had excellent satisfaction with other purchases on E Bay. Seller had a 100% rating, but that didn't help in this situation.

I LOVE the 1999 and 1998 they are very well tuned, and most def. have a very high reliability with myself.

I have a spyder so it is a little bit different, but I love this car. I haven't had a problem with it yea as far as being unreliable. I think the problem lies within the driver. Too many younger people drove the crap out of these cars and killed the engine. Although i heard there were problems with the crysler engines, mine has a 2.4 mitsubishi one so I can't tell you first hand. Like all dealership I heard people have problems at mitsubishi ones all the time. Locally i have the same problem, only one good person there that would help. Only thing that might discourage me from owning another one.

i like the great looks of this car. when they come stock they are still good cars but i like it because it is not just a normal car, it has a full body kit and a lot of show lights on it. you can make these cars look great and the best out of any vehicle. what i like most is that it is great on gas and it is very reliable. i decided to buy it because i like eclipses and when i was looking at the page this one stood out.
