I had been shopping for about 2 months and had test driven several cars but could not find one in our area that met our desires and purchase price. I had watched several other Mini's on Ebay, including the one that I bought, but did not bid. After this one did not sell, I contacted the seller and expressed interest and closed the deal. Although somewhat reluctant to make the purchase without physically seeing the car, I took the chance and was greatly rewarded. We put over 2,000 miles on the car in the first month and are really enjoying all the features of the car.

I think that I was a bit mislead by the car fax information given, thinking it was the real thing. I felt after some travel that I should have to buy the car but I didn't take the extra days to see if there where any major pit falls which the seller may or may not have been aware of at the time. I ended up spending upwards of $8,000.00 to recondition the car and there are still things not working, so I question whether or not it was a wise decision to purchase the car at face value from a private party. I am glad that I didn't venture to another state upon winning the bidding, buyer beware, and do get an independent inspection, no matter how long it may take. This has been a rather stressful experience and I would not want to go through it again any time soon, thank you.
