What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I love this roadster co'z it is a convertible hardtop, (unlike my CLK55 AMG cabriolet that I always worry about the top) it is fun to drive and eye catcher specially the black on black, it look very gergeous and pretty impressive, it is quick in city and as well as in freeway driving, very controlable to drive and impressive performance over all, good gas millage inspite of the 3.2 engine, I rate this car very very good overall, adequate truck space even top is down, the only thing I dont like is the spare tire, you have to wait to pump the spare tire before you can drive, portable air compressor is also supplied in the car with the spare tire.

2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class: 2001 Mercedes SLK 320

• Overall Satisfaction:
Being a Mercedes, I expected top quality and I was not dissapointed. The car looks and feels amazing. I am 6'1" and about 230 lbs so it is slightly tight but not uncomfortably so. I am used to driving a large Dodge Ram truck with extended cab and still feel relaxed in the car. The handling is incredible. I have yet to go too fast around a curve to feel uncomfortable and I increase my speed a little bit every time. It is amazing how well it holds the road. The thrust will set you back in the seat enough to make it exhilerating. Plus it just looks cool. I have yet to go somewhere and people not stare at it. Kids on my daughers school bus get up and come to the window just to look at it and tell her how much they like it. All this and it is 8 years old. It was definitly worth the money. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to enjoy driving again.

The more I drive it, the better it gets!! When looking for a sporty 2-seater convertible, I never ever even considered a Benz, thinking it would be far too expensive. I found this perfect condition, low mileage SLK320 by accident, and fell in love with it. WHAT A GREAT DEAL! Like new (43,000 miles), and almost 8 years old! Super Car performance. Future repairs may be quite expensive, as Benz mechanics are required, but this car is worth fixing! (Should that ever be necessary) Twice the car with twice the features as other similarly priced used 2 seaters like Miata, or even Solstice/Sky. Even my insurance is super cheap, due to all the safety features! At this price, 90% of the depreciation is gone!

I purchased this vehicle as an addition to several other vehicles I currently own. While it's not my primary mode of transportation, I feel it is dependable enough to use as such. The exterior lines are beautiful and with the V-6, gas milage is fairly decent at around 27mpg while not relinquishing power when necessary! I've been quite impressed with the automatic roof (convertable)and find it's engineering to be genius, convenient and extremely pleasurable! Even with the roof retracted, there exists enough room in the trunk for my books, a rolling tote, and breif case with room to spare. The beautiful two toned leather interior is finely crafted with additional storage niches here and there throughout the interior. I'm not one for clutter so the issue of the small driving compartment is of no consequence to me as I would expect this from a sporty vehicle. The only complaint I would have to point out exists in the painted interior common in this class. It scratches easily leaving behind the black subcoating where it should instead be beige or sand colored. Fortunately, this is a fixable issue and Mercedes does offer a fix to patch these areas. Know also that there are forums online where you can learn more about your vehicle or any Mercedes you might have an interest in. (Benzworld.org) Mercedes uses Magna Donnelly Corp. lens and mirror applications which are injected with gas. (Anti-glare features) Benz world points out that the rear view mirrors can be replaced free of charge by contacting Donnally. This is a $200.00 savings so if you are a Benz fan, check it out and further learn more about the car of your dreams! (As well as how to save money) Mercedes is expensive to repair so what I can do myself, I do! Using this forum, I have already saved $500.00. The car is a joy so if Mercedes is something you're interested in....The SLK 320 won't let you down.

The SLK 230 is a fun car it is very small and trunk is even smaller. I use mine just for my local transpotation only. Milage is about 24 miles per gallon. The car is lot's of fun to drive in city or highway.
The pictures that were displayed on the auction post were great. Very good detailed description too. I tell all my friends to check e-Bay first on the purchase of their new vehicles. But like any purchase you need to check it out in person first if all possible. Bid with confidence here on e-bay.

I wanted a hardtop convertable sports car of high quality and this is it. The craftsmanship is superior, the performance is excellant and the look is awesome. As in most sports cars, the tight suspension that increases performance decreases comfort to some degree. The v-6 offers plenty of power and jumps to 70mph in seconds. I love it.

The Mercedes SLK320 is a beautiful car. Ride is as good as any sportscar I've owned. The wheels on the car were unexpectedly scuffed up and the radio needed a code when I received it but both were repairable so I'm satisfied with my deal on EBay Motors.

2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class: Nervous about AUTO purchase online!!!!

I was VERY skeptical about purchasing online, but turned out to be a local company. I was sent to another local Auto shop, TLC, and they ran some tests. Being the cautious person I am, took the car to a local Mercedes dealership and they confirmed EVERYTHING that the seller and the shop told me! Felt VERY comfortable after this! VERY smooth transaction. Car is as described. Just a few standard EXPECTED fixes (couple little lights, shock for trunk - - only $16., etc). Love the car and they both have gained my trust! Helped that i am local and had much face to face experience.

The only 2 bad thing about this car, is #1 - - You have to pull your Driver and woods out of the golf bag for all to fit in the trunk . .and the top has to be up (unless clubs are in the front seat! and #2, is after only a few days, I have already had punks revving their engines at me, a couple wanting to race, and a couple spinning tires around me . . . . .ahhh, kids. LOL. I was once there myself! (they're probably mad because their girlfriends are checking out the car! LOL)

Thanks - - - Mark
