1995 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

I and my wife always love Mercedes; we both know that its just in our dream to own the brand new Mercedes S class. I always love W140 model and wish to own one when I was a kid. This is one of my dream cars. When I first got it, its have some problem with engine and transmission, its misfired when I got it and the 1st gear shift to 2nd gear its hard, I drove it from LA to Las Vegas and I believed it overheat because gauge temperature raise and stay between 80 and 120 degree, its pass the middle, I call the Mercedes dealer and told them what happen, technician stated its normal for this model because its Aluminum radiator. I took the car to dealership to find the problem about misfire right after I get back in town and why its hard to shift up, I have change 2 engine mount, one transmission mount and doing the maintenance like replace the oil filter and oil change, air filter, flush transmission fluid, replace transmission gasket and transmission filter, new spark plug, flush the radiator and replace the thermostat, new brake pad and resurface rotor, replace the fuel filter. The job is done by Mercedes dealer ship in Las Vegas; its cost me $3,850. No, it's not done yet, to make the ride quality better, I aliment and balance 4 tires, that another $200, the job is done be Goodyear dealership. I still need to replace a set of stud shock up and the car will ride the way it was brand new. The steering wheel is respond quickly and accuracy. This car has only 78,400 miles when I bought it and the interior its great, leather and wood trim its make me feel rich and the memory seat it also work great.
The only 2 thing I don't like about this model is;
1. They did not care about cup holder for driver and passengers, also they don't have the space for you to put down anything, if you have the cell phone and you want to put it somewhere, you can't find the place for you to put it not even the pen, you can't put anything on the center console because they have no space for you.
2. The steering wheel is not comfortable when you have to drive the long trip, the design is bad and not feel comfortable also the shift knob, its look low class, I have replace it with the aftermarket AMG set and its feel much more comfortable.
The ride in the city is tough because the paddle is very heavy, if you are women, you should consider to take off your shoe before drive it, if the traffic is going to kill you, in the long trip is much better, when you on freeway the paddle is feel much lighter and cruise control is working perfect. Talking about gas; 4.2 L V8 its won't save your gas money and if you want to drive the Mercedes then forget about saving gas, if you are worry about gas price then buy Hybrid not 4.2L V8 Mercedes. Overall this car is the KING of the road and its feel great when you are right behind the wheel, this car is have double paddle grass that bullet prove, its might not protect you from the real bullet but its protect you from the gangbang that try to brake the window and steal $5 dollar on the center console.

The name itself tells the story. Specifically, this car is as close to new condition as you can possibly get, both cosmetically and mechanically. The only draw back is the high mileage, 151K, but the previous owner babied this car in every way. It can be used as an everyday driver, very beautiful and reliable and comfortable. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country with my family in it. eBay gave the seller the opportunity to get rid of his merchandise, and gave me the chance to obtain and own a car that I had always wanted to have, since 1992! This is a car with MSRP of about $75,000, with the feel of a $12-15,000 used car, which I bought for only $4,500; and the car is in Perfect Condition. I also found a new friend who is honest, professional, caring and content with what he gets; he is the seller. Thank you eBay!

S350 diesel engine should be avoided at all cost,unless it has been replaced with a 3. diesel or reliable om617.951.

I bought this car approximately one month ago. It's great car for the price. A Mercedes Benz S500 for the price is great. I bought this car because of the price and I have been looking for several months for this type of vehicle at a great price. I don't like that the parts and maintenance is expensive , but I knew this before I purchased it.

I stumbled across the listing with 44 mins to go, with what I considered to be a very low bid. Decided to bid as a lark. Won well below my max bid. Picked up the car in two and a half days and exceeded my expectations. Exceptional condition for age and mileage. Needed some small repairs, butn saved money by getting most on eBays. Am most pleased with decision to buy.

Great retailer...easy transaction...paper work and documents were easier than in my home state. the saleman and management office were exceptionally professional.only wish they would take credit cards or PayPal!

I love the bid body benz, ive been hunting and searching for the perfect one for me since June of 2007. Finally i got my dream car! It has really low miles for the year 76,000 by the time i got it home and registered. When i got to PA to buy the car i was a little pissed off because the ebay add said "flawless, super clean" and all this other excellent describing words that just were UNTRUE. The interior was absolutely filthy, probably not cleaned the entire time of ownership by the previous person. A panel behind the rear driverside passenger was loose, needs a clip or somthing, just looked bad. the gray interior is a off shade of brown, even the headliner!! cmon, flawless? But heres the good part...This car cam with BRAND NEW 22 inch Sporza chrome wheels, with 30 series tires barely missing the beads when there new. Those alone had to have cost atleast $5,000 bucks. they need cleaning to of course, and honestly, who puts nice rims like that away for storage DIRTY??? unreal. oh yeah not only 4 rims and tires but it also comes with a full size 22 inch chrome spare. me myself i more than likely will not put these on the car for personal reasons.they attract way to much unwanted attention from the fuzz ;0) but if sell those, even for 3000 or 3500 then i get the car for half price. where the hell can YOU find a 1995 S 420 with 75k on it for 3500-4000? UPDATE!!! MAJOR PROBLEMS GETTING CAR INSPECTED. NEEDS HEADLIGHTS ($450) SPECIAL WIPER BLADE FROM MERCEDES, TINTS A RE TO DARK BUT THERE PEELING ANYWAY. WOOD PANEL ON THE DOOR WHERE THE SEAT CONTROLS MUST HAVE BEEN PROPPED UP THE CLIPS ARE BROKEN. NOW ABOUT THE SELLER, GUY SEEMS LIKE A PROFESSIONAL EBAY SCAMMER. I READ ANOTHER ADD HE HAS UP IT SAYS ALL THIS NONSENSE ABOUT WARRANTY 100% ON THE CAR AND ALL THESE LIES ABOUT HIM SELLING THE CAR FO AN OLD PERSON OR SOMTHING. FUNNY SINCE HE OUT ALMOST THE SAME THING ABOUT KNOWING THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF MY CAR AND HIM BEING A "VERY WEALTHY MAN" LOL. THEN AT THE BOTTOM OF HIS ADD HE PUTS SOME DISCLAIMER ABOLISHING HIM OF ANY RESPONSIBILITY OF ANYTRHING HE WRITES DOWN. HE TOLD ME IN 5 OR SIX EMAILS THAT IF I DIDNT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT THE CAR, OR IS SOMTHING HE SAID WAS UNTURE ABOUT IT, I DIDNT HAVE TO BUY IT. I GET THERE THE THING SMELLED LIKE BABY POOP AND DIAPERS AND WAS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY. A REAL SLOB!!! JUST WATCH YOURSELVES IF BUYING FROM HIM I GOT LUCKY (IHOPE ATLEAST) BUT HE HAD MAJOR JUNKBOXES FOR SALE OTHER THAN MY S 420 ON DUB-DEUCES FOR 7 G'S!

Alittle rougher than described with multiple little but expensive problem's but I can deal with them for the reasonable purchase price!!!
