Not too big, not too little, just right. I have two, out of four Mercedeses, and both are perfect, good acceleration with the V6, one of Mercedes's best engines. Fit and finish are fine. Solid. I also have an S Class, and, yes, there's a little more room and a little less road surface noise, but not as nimble or fuel efficient as an E. E's are perfect little cars, all the car one ever really needs. This last one came from an estate sale on eBay, and the seller was also just right. The car was as advertised, a clean car from an elderly couple, one of whom recently deceased, sold by the estate executor. No dog or smoke had ever been in the car. Like you read about, but in this case true. We are delighted with it.
As to other comments here on eBay, the check engine light is almost always a weak oxygen sensor. Those help cold weather performance by adjusting fuel mixture, and general fuel economy. Worth fixing. Go to an INDEPENDENT Mercedes specialist, NOT a dealer. Dealers are ignorant and need to sell you parts. Don't forget, the so-called "service writer" is not your friend. He or she gets a commission, almost always, on what he or she persuades you to fix. I highly recommend European Auto Solutions, in Waltham, MA, or Foreign Car Service in Alexandria, VA, if you are near by. Even if you aren't, it is worth the trip. Independents are honest, sell only the parts you need, tell you when BS is indeed BS. There is probably a Mercedes specialist near you, because of chronic dealer over-pricing. Find it.
