What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Car is a pleasure to drive, peppy, corners well, and good performance. I am 5'11" tall, 165 pounds and comfort is an issue. Very comfortable seats, just a tight squeeze. Would recommend that people over 5'10" try it first. Other than that, it's a great car. The 2001 SE has some nice wood trim inside, 16" wheels, and is British Racing Green with tan top, very nice looking. MPGs are in the high twenties, depending on speed and driving conditions.
Would highly recommend this car to any small sports car enthusiast.

This little car attracts attention every where we have taken it. It is a real blast to drive. The wife would not condone a motorcycle, But this car has proven to be as much fun and I don't have to dress to enjoy it.Mazda makes a great product that delivers thirty mpg it is dependable and We can put the top up and turn the A.C. on in less than a minute. Would I buy a Miata MX5 again? You betcha, I should have had one years ago, ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM. Thanks to Ebay I found this car that would not have been available in my area.

First off...Miata's are very Reliable cars. Their road handling capability is almost unsurpassed; they average about 28 MPG on gas -(I've gotten as high as 32 mpg on long trips)
YOU MUST DRIVE ONE to understand the exhiliration you experience with this car.
On a sunny day, you will feel like you are on a vacation. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.

I have owned 18 Miata's, every year/model from 1990-2001.
Each one I have owned was consistently well made. The design, materials used for mechanical, body and interior are very durable and of high quality.(EXCEPT: I don't care for the leather seats as they do not hold up well at all)
Did you know all the front engine hoods are made of aluminum for light weight?

If you are looking at one from 1990-1997, be sure to look for the VIN Tag on each body part. This can tell you if each body part is intact and original.
If the sticker isn't there, the part has been replaced or painted over (not such a bad thing unless you must have a 100% original body).
Be sure and go to www.miata.net to get everything you ever wanted to know about all miatas.
The history of the Miata is VERY interesting and worth researching.
Designed on a Cray Supercomputer starting circa 1986/7,
Car was hung from a single wire during design, to insure 100% perfect front to rear balance,
Designers tested 1000's of exhaust systems to achieve --just the right sound -- .
Design is a collaboration between California and Japanese Car designers.
The ultimate british roadster from Japan with Lexus Reliability !
