2001 Lincoln Town Car

This car is not for everyone, but it is an outstanding car for those who want what it offers. My wife has had two major back surgeries. She almost always has some level of back pain, but sometimes it is really bad. This is the only car she can take a trip in and enjoy the trip. That includes her mother's Lexus and other expensive cars her friends own. As a result, we have had several Town Cars.

For a very large car, the Town Car gets excellent fuel mileage. The trunk is huge which often comes in handy. The car handles curves very well. It's not a sports car, but it does not wallow through the curves like some older big cars. Our current model is a 2001, but we will probably be getting a later model soon. We got the 2001 when we hit a deer with our 2000 model (which had over 150,000 miles on it and was running perfectly). The deer smashed in the front end, but the car never swerved or lost control in any way. I was driving and had glanced down to get my drink when I heard a big bang. Looking up I saw the legs of the deer going over the top of the car. If I had not heard the bang, I would not have known we hit anything! We liked that car (which we bought through ebay) so much that we consider trying to get it repaired, but finally decided to get a lower mileage car to replace it.

This car is not for everyone, but for those who are looking for a luxurious ride in a car with lots of room and still get very decent fuel mileage, this is an outstanding car.

I purchased the vehicle because I needed a car big enough for 6 people - and this car fits the bill. I love all the interior room and all the room in the trunk. I dislike the fact that you can only use the key to get in on the drivers door - no key hole on any other door. (of course this would not be a problem if I had one of the key chain where you can push the button and the car locks and unlocks) I don't like the fact that the CD Player is in the trunk. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't have heated seats - got used to them in the Continental and you would figure this is a step up - that the Town Car would have them to. Mileage is great for a big car, rides great - lots of room.

had a couple dents i noticed after i boufght it but overall was in great shape for year and mileage it gets good gas mileage for the size i feel safer in it than a smaller car

I really like the car and it's performance. I highly recommend it. It's very comfortable and very smooth.

I love the 26MPG highway mileage and the fact that I feel like I am sitting on a leather sofa driving across country. Great Value.

THE CAR IS FINE. BUT, DO NOT YET HAVE A TITLE. I HAVE REPORTED TO EBAY, I HAVE CONTACTED THIS DEALER 3 TIMES BY EMAIL, NO RESPONSE. I HAVE CALLED MANY TIMES NO RESULTS, I CALL NOW AND AND NO ANSWER, BUT, ANSWERING MACHINE.
I AM NOW WORKING WITH FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES. THIS DEALER HAS DONE MUCH ON EBAY, BUT HE MAY HAVE LEFT TOWN. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. MY HOPE NOW IS THT EBAY WILL HONOR THE GUARENTEE OF UP TO $20,000.
