What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

We have a winter home in Arizona and we have been looking for a car to leave there when we return to our permanent home in the spring. I looked at many cars on ebay and several dealers in our area but I could not find anything that I really liked until I came across this car. I had never purchased anything on ebay and I was a little skeptical but many of my friends buy and sell from ebay so I took the chance. I am extremely happy with the purchase, I had nothing but a good experience. I had a couple of questions which the seller immediately responded. The car has been great for us, the ride is extremely comfortable and the car was in excellent condition. I look forward to making more purchases. Thank you.

This is a super reliable car, just drove from Fort Lauderdale to Odessa, Texas, wow! The car is still tight and quiet and gave 25 MPG. It is the quietest car I've ever owned. The folks at the dealership were most accomodating in getting it ready to go, superb business folks. I would not hesitate to get in this 12 year old car and drive the 1500 miles from home again and not worry about it.
Thanks.

I got to tell you this car is a favorite of mine ive owned many cars in my time and this car is ahead of the rest its very comfortable for starters as most already know but whats so amasing about a car like thia is that the suprising gas mileage it gets its onboard computer says it gets close to 24 mpg which at 4 dollars a galoon aint to bad for a car of this size very happy with mine. Many reasons come to mine why i still have mine just aint got the time to write about all of them but if ur looking for a car that gets relitivly good gas mileage and classy look dependabilty the list goes on and on this is still a great car just look at all of them being used as cabs they need dependibilty and they last forever 300,000 miles is some cases, now thats getting your moneies worth

The 1997 Lincoln Town Car is a luxury automobile as are the other Town Cars. The '97 has the upgraded engine with plenty of power and still maintains relatively good mileage. The vehicle I purchased was offered in excellent condition with but 32,000 miles on the 11 year old car. It has lived up to all expectations and is a pleasure to drive.

The only minus is that it is fitted with Firestone Tires, which I do not trust. When they wear down some I will replace them with my favorite tire (after researching tires for many years), the Cooper Pathfinder. Second choice is Goodyear.

1997 Lincoln Town Car: Excellent Car, excellent seller

This car is one of the best cars I've ever driven. It has great pick up, handles great, rides like riding on a cloud and is as comfortable as any car you've ever been in before. After driving in it for the first time, my friend said that the back seat of this car was more comfortable than his living room couch. The car has 130,000 miles on it, 6000 of which I've put on. There have been no major mechanical problems, the engine is strong and the transmission is shifting smoothly. My mechanic said that it was one of the most well maintained cars he's ever seen and that it will probably last me another hundred thousand miles.
The interior is huge. It will comfortably fit people of any size as a driver or a passenger. The electric seat control gives you unlimited options as to seat position and there are a ton of great features on the dash-outside temperature, avg MPG display, miles left on your gas tank, climate control etc.
The only two downfalls that this car has are it's gas mileage and it's manueverability. The gas mileage is acceptable during highway driving but during city driving with frequent stops it's pretty bad, sometimes going as low as 15mpg avg. Overall the car gets between 19-20mpg on average. The towncar is largest american made car and so it can be difficult to fit in and out of tight spots as well as making tight turns and u-turns. If you've never driven a large car before, the size combined with the unique steering and air ride suspension can be difficult to get used to. In my mind, the performance and comfort far outweigh these two small problems.
Overall, I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable car.

I have had 5 of these Town Cars from 1991 thru 1997. They were the best cars Ford ever built. I put over 200,000 on each of them without a problem. Great gas mileage-about 24 constantly...and the ride is fantastic. I am driving a 1995 that has about 180,000 and I know it is good for another 50,000. My 97 went to 228,000 before I sold it-and it still looked and rode great.
