2004 Lexus RX

The good : A lot of amenities, that won't suck you dry of all your money like those other German manufacturers. Heated seats, Nav, rear-view backup camera, auto lift-gate (trunk), 6 disc changer, rear entertainment/dvd w/ wireless headsets (2).. all included in a pretty reasonable package.

Lexus service is excellent.

The bad : craftsmanship = okay. Loose odds and ends and bugs. Our RX is 3 years old, we've had 3 or 4 electrical issues (minor, but annoying). Dealer took care of all of these. Does not drive like a truck. More like a delicate sedan. Some may prefer this, I don't.

The ugly : Gas guzzler. We're filling up the tank (16.4 gallon tank) every 280 miles.

Overall : Lexus RX is a pretty safe decision.

I like the look. I love the comfort and roominess. I do not like the way the multi disc cd operates. It will not eject the cd's, i used it after the purchase and it has been out of operation since. The changer will not eject the cd's. I will have to take it in to be repaired. I researched the vehicle and noticed several that led to my decision to purchase it.

'We went there on bad snowing day bcoz we needed the car right away and 5 hour drive from west MI in good weather and 7 hours drive in bad snowing. We were in rush bcoz we want to get there before they closed. So we forgot the check at friend's house in Toledo where we had lunch. Seller has nice showroom and cars but no nice sellman. We
agreeded that someone from their company came with us and get the check if we pay him $ 200.00 extra fee. Sellman said that he drove this car in his daily basic used and nothing problem so we trusted him without roadtest drive. After all paper work done and we filled up the empty gas tank to get 7 hours drive back. Within 1 mile radius of dealer, that car made loud funny noice from rear. So we drove back to them and sellman never said he will fix it and kept saying as is asis bcoz we have signed the as is paper agreement. But only driving in 1 mile from dealer and already get problem?? Come on!!! If he say that they will fix it in nextday we may consinder to take it. So how can seller treat to buyer after all done the best to get a car with lie? So, we felt like that company is very untrustful and got the car in IL nextday evening bcoz we needed the car right away. 'If he called me nextday morning that he will fix the car, so we would knew what going on. But he called 2days later then car was ready. But in that time too late, we did need the car and we didnt feel like to deal with him again anymore. So we got the better car with better service in IL next day evening. Then he agreeed to cancel the transaction in ebay and told me to leave him positive feedback then he will refund my deposit money excluding my gas money for full tank. So I did left the positive feedback to finish quickly. Now what, I have to file the disput in paypal and fight for to get my own money back. THAT IS THE PERSON WHO NEVER KEEP HIS WORD AND I DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH THAT KIND OF PERSON ANYMORE. He treated buyer with lies and no respects. If you buy the car from them, make sure that you inspect the car 100% then take it, Dont trust what they say and they are ready to take buyer down anyway they can. Thank you for reading the review..

I purchased this vehicle a couple of weeks ago on ebay. It was listed by a BMW dealership in Florida. I absolutely LOVE this vehicle. I am used to driving BMW's and this is my first Lexus, but I am very happy with it. The vehicle is a true luxury vehicle with so many options. The only downside to the vehicle is that we live on a very curvy, rural state route and I am used to my little BMW sticking right to the road and hugging the curves beautifully. This vehicle is an SUV and drives a little differently in comparison. It does not stick to the road and hug the curves as I am used to, so I do have to slow down much slower than I am used to on the curves,,,which there are many. I would highly recommend the vehicle to anyone wanting a true luxury SUV. I am anxious to see how the Automatic All-Wheel Drive works this winter, as we definitely need 4-wheel drive here in Ohio.

This is my 3rd Lexus and this purchased lives up to the Lexus reputation. My previous two were purchased brand new. This previously owned Lexus is everything Lexus claims about their cars. The RX is in perfect condition, internally and externally. The ride is smooth and comfortable. I am a life long Lexus driver. I like everything about this Lexus RX 330.

Outstanding vehicle. The car performs as well as any luxury vehicle you desire yet has the spirit and vitality to go offroad with ease, handle harsh environmental conditions and with the FWD option gets up to 27 MPG on the road. What more can you ask for? We love it and recommend the vehicle to others.

I love my new Lexus. I think I am hooked on the vehicle forever now. The craftsmanship, quality and comfort of this vehicle are unbelievable! I have always like the way this vehicle looked and have wanted one for some time. They are a little more than I had wanted to spend but now I am glad I did! My experience through Ebay was a wonderful one and I will continue to buy this way.

I liked the way the vehicle was described and the price, but i did not like the fact that there were problems with the vehicle that the seller did not tell me. I am currently working with him to correct the problem. I hope that the end result will be pleasing to me. I will wait until then to send my feedback.
