What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2005 Jeep Wrangler: 2005 Jeep Wrangler X Review
4 of 7 people found this review helpful.
• Overall Satisfaction:
Having the 6-speed, manual transmission is great for the torque and the highway, but they have severe issues with it. I had my trans rebuilt at 6000 miles, then replaced at 7500. It took three visits to the dealer before they could tell I had lost 6th gear and reverse. The rear end gets a very sharp snapping noise that the dealers can also not seem to find. With only 28000 miles on mine, it's ready for another transmission and still has the snap in the rear end. Also, it was about 25 degrees outside, and my back window snapped all the way across the top. Being a soft top, I never expected that to happen, especially with it being only 1.5 years old and has been garage-kept at night for the last year.

I would like to thank ebay for fianlly opening the door for communication, because the Good Lord knows that doesn't happen easily enough. I have been an ebay member for four to five years, and I have 100% feedback. I also introduced my mother to ebay shortly after I got involved. I have always had positive experiences on ebay and my Jeep was one of the best buying experieces ever.

However, I will never buy anything off of ebay for over twenty dollars EVER AGAIN. Within two weeks from purchasing my Jeep, my mother bought a car over ebay for ten thousand dollars and never received her car. When she contacted ebay, their customer service rep was rude and uninformed.

I learned that ebay's VPP isn't worth the paper it is written on. Ebay will not stand behind their website, or protect their buyers, no matter what they boast. Ebay has even went so far as to go back and edit the origional ad in an effort to cover their asses. All this activity has been documented.

But alas, ebay has stupidly decided to con the wrong woman, and they obviously don't know my mother, or her friends. Mom is still tight with a few people in Washington, including my bother who is an FBI agent. I think ebay is about to get some free publicity, although it won't be the kind they are looking for.

We know now that ebay does not monitor their ads, or back the victims of scams on their website. My mother is sixty-eight years old and she has never ripped anyone off. And ebay is the first to rip her off. But this issue is a long way from over, and when the dust has settled, my mom will probably own ebay.

I certainly hope ebay is monitoring things more closely today. Otherwise this review is going to be posted for all their customers to read and learn the truth. Beware folks. Ebay is all show - and no go.

Just remember - you contacted me about my ebay experiences. Stealing ten thousand bucks from my Mom causes some harsh feelings. I'm sure you understand. Just put yourself in my shoes.

I earnesly hope this catches someone's attention who counts. Otherwise ebay is in for some free publicity, although I don't think it's the type of publicity they want.

Have a nice day.

2005 Jeep Wrangler: My Jeep

My jeep is a wrangler x with the 4.0 6 cylinder 6 speed manuel. I love the looks and performance and have always wanted a wrangler since I was young. But with the 6 in. lift and 33" tires. The ride is really bumpy and lots of vibration, at times even on smooth roads it shakes so bad I have to either slow down or speed up to make it quit. Common on the jeep with oversized tires as I'm told. I love all the different parts available to make your jeep your own. I have noticed that jeeps are no extra frills inside and tend to show rust quicker. But in the end I still love My Jeep

2005 Jeep Wrangler: It is after all a used Jeep.

I bought this Jeep with plans to use it for a project later. When it arrived there were some minor problems, like a bolt missing from the roof rack and the rear window didn't seal properly, but a little patience fixed these issues. The only significant problem so far was that it needed brakes, complete brakes rotors and pads on all four wheels. I can live with that as it is a 47,000 mile vehicle. I rate the comfort as just good because well it is a Jeep, not much room. So far the Jeep has run very well, no leaks or odd noises. I have been off road already, nothing to serious though just some hill climbs and soft sand but the Jeep performed wonderfully. I cannot really rate reliability as I have not had the Jeep over a week yet but I do not for see any issues. The vehicle appears to be very well built with all the body lines matching up well and no obvious problems as far as fit and finish are concerned. I also have been driving it to and from work and can tell you that a Jeep does not really like to run 70 to 75 MPH, they seem to struggle, but if I remember right my Cherokee was the same way. Mileage so far has been about 15 MPG, I'm sure that could be better but like I said I'm driving on the interstate at about 75. I really did not buy this to be my daily driver so I'm not to worried about the mileage. Off road this thing is great with a 4 to 1 reduction in the transfer case and locking front and rear differentials it was designed to go places other vehicles can't. I guess if I had to summarize, if you are going back and forth to work at speeds less than 55 MPH I could see using it as a daily driver. Very manuverable and fun to drive, just not the most practicle. If you have family of four and want to use one as your primary vehicle I would say no way. It is fun though.

We bought a used 2005 Jeep Wrangler a couple of weeks ago. It has a hard top, fully equipped, comfortable, and fun to drive. It rides and handles like a luxury car, which is something I wouldn't expect from a Jeep. It has room enough for four people but I would think it would be somewhat hard to get in and out of the back seat with it being a two door. I also find it hard to get in and out of it because it has a lift kit on it. But overall, my husband is very pleased with his Jeep. We would recommend a Jeep Wrangler to anyone looking for this type of vehicle.

This is a 2005 jeep wrangler sport. The jeep was in extremely clean condition and definately exceeded our expectations!! The V6 is stout for its size and it gets about 18 miles to the gallon. Our jeep came with a soft-top, which we were leary about, but surprisingly it is very quite. Its not the most comfortable for long distance trips but we bought it strictly as a play vehicle. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and recommend a jeep for anyone who is looking for a secondary vehicle thats a lot of fun.

First of all I decided to buy it because I needed it and thought that I was dealing with a reputable company. I new that Ebay would make sure that this was the case. I dislike the fact that I won the auction and the vehicle was sold to someone else. I dislike the fact that I filed a complaint and you told me that you could not do anything about it. I dislike the fact that you also had the negative feedback that I left for the seller removed. I dislike the fact that the seller is given the benefit of the doubt on everything that happens because they are the ones who are paying ebay. I think your resolution center, feedback removal service, and especially your CUSTOMER SERVICE are JOKES!!!!! It is also a joke that I ask you guys numerous times to help me and you did nothing, and now you want me to write a review that will benefit you and the sellers. Give me a break. Oh, I also dislike the fact that when something like this happens, I cannot speak to a REAL PERSON. As far as I know, your customer service is just a bunch of computers. The answers that I am given are so stale and generic that any computer could have this stuff pre-programmed. I am very dissatisfied. Obviously not with the Jeep because I never was given a chance to buy it even after I actually won it. I am dissatisfied and disappointed with ebay. Shame on you for being just like every other large corporation.
