What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1995 Jeep Wrangler: with Reo Grande and 150,000 miles

First, It's a Jeep so if you want comfort you're looking at the wrong vehicle.

That said, The only mechanical problems I've had in the 70,000 miles I've owned the vehicle is the starter, power steering failed and I just bought the second set if tires (I know, this is great life on tires).

With the gearing being basically for 45 MPH it gets it's best fuel economy off the freeway as the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine and gearing are not set for the freeway. At 45 MPH it gets about 22 MPG and at 65 it gets about 19 MPG. On marginal or dirt roads it's great - that's what it's designed for.

The engine has ample power to get around off road and the small engine keeps the weight way down. The body and hard top are essentially a shell to keep the rain and mud off.

This is what I wanted so I very satisfied.

I purchased the vehicle to plow a small parking lot, was told this jeep would be good option. Drove vehicle home...noisey rearend could not get it inspected. The frame had been taped and covered with undercoating to hide the totally rotted frame on both sides of vehicle. The seller reimbursed me 250. toward the bill. Close to 800.00 so far. I have not been able to drive the jeep..Repair shops and tem tag ran out 1/22, title arrived 1/31 after numoruos calls. Not happy!

PERFORMANCE-The wrangler s is equipped with the 2.5l engine. It is very dependable and it will last for years. Since it is a 4 cyl. its great on gas. The only downfall that i can see is that it lacks power if your looking to put bigger tires and a lift on it.
RELIABILITY-The wrangler is very dependable. "IT WON'T EVER QUIT"
COMFORT-It's a jeep it was made to do many things however its not a luxury car. It's a rough ride but thats part of the experience. There are no bells and whistles here.
QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP-The wrangler is built very well and made to last. If taken care of it will last for years and not fail you.
I've wanted one for years and it was a great investment. It's a 95 with 135k and still going strong. I would tell anyone thinking about a wrangler to go for it.

Let me first say that either you love Jeeps or you hate them. With a Jeep there is no such thing as perfection. Perfection is more a myth or a miracle in the Jeep world. So don't think that just because it looks like its in good condition, means its in perfect condition. 95% of the time they leak in the rain. My '88 leaked from the windshield and my '95 leaks from the firewall. Its more like a, "Perfect for me," kind of thing. I have always loved Jeeps, and probably always will. But, if you want a car that is bought and ready to go a Jeep is probably never going to be your vehicle. They will always need some kind of work. If you can handle a car that needs work from time to time or is always asking you for an addition or a change/tweak, you can handle a Jeep. The biggest problem they have is either they are underpowered or inefficient on fuel. If you are using it as a commuter car, make sure its a short commute. But if its Just for fun, I don't think you can do much better. And if you don't like something about it you can always change it, as they are so popular and there are so many customizations. You can always have your own Jeep, that is only yours, and screams your name and no one elses. They are amazing vehicles. Monday through Friday they're good for getting you to work and then on the weekend its great to take offroad. Quickly, lets talk about the vehicle itself. The interior is a little lacking. The seating position a bit like driving a truck or bus. You are sitting upright with your knees bet at almost a 90 degree angle...depending upon height. The rear seat is a little cramped and for bigger passengers getting in and out can be a bit difficult. There is not much cargo area unless you remove the rear seat, which I suggest if you are not going to using the rear for toting around people. Gas mileage is our next topic. I have a 4 cylinder with a 5 speed and I get between 16 and 20 mpg. The 6 cylinders I have heard getting up to 18 mpg with the right touchiness. I will say though that the 4cyl is quite underpowered and not a good highway driver, its tough to go over 65mph unless you are going downhill with the wind behind you. There is not much more to talk about. Just remember, if you are not sure about getting a Jeep, take one for a spin and see how it goes from there. Good luck and happy Jeeping.

Bought this car for my daughter and I couldn't be happier. Had everything I was looking for at the right price. The seller was an exceptional Ebay'er and handled the transaction flawlessly. The vehicle was as advertised and the seller even added some additional accessories at no charge. Needless to say, after some cosmetic work, my daughter is thrilled. Maybe she will let me drive it someday.

this review is for the 95 wrangler bought from WANDALL32 only. ebay buyer protection doesn't give a hoot, so don't think they will help you, even tho they are courteous. i recently fixed, drove and sold a 95 wrangler, and they ARE fun to drive, and tough to boot! not very economical due to the gear ratios
do not buy a vehicle on ebay unless you can physically look at it first, because even tho the VIN matched the title, the jeep is a mixed-up mess of parts from other jeeps (some older, too) and that is what ebay vbpp (buyer protection)used to get out of investigating this claim. item was grossly misrepresented on the listing, and ebay said, basically "oh well"

This was a disappointing purchase in many ways. First,
Ebay decided to present me with a 500 dollar gift coupon which led to my purchasing the Jeep. There were Jeep problems right off the bat which caused the seller to agree to refund 400 dollars. When Paypal/Ebay received the refund they promptly put the 400 of the 3250 I spent on the Jeep back on the COUPON ebay gave me along with taking 100 dollars from my Paypal account to reimburse the other 100 for the total of a 500 dollar coupon. I have since made all repairs needed to the Jeep and it is a decent vehicle now however I feel used and abused by Ebay/Paypal. They (Ebay) were the instigators in my purchase to being with by presenting me with 500 dollars. I am now out an additional 1000 dollars out of my pocket to fix the Jeep while Ebay has made sure that I will have to make yet another Ebay purchase to spend the 500 I had already spent. Bad business if you ask me however Ebay reps and Paypal reps did not agree. They were "sorry" for the issue however they stood behind their actions. I will be much more conscious of the possibilities before spending my 500 dollar coupon the second time and will be a little more careful on my future vehicle purchases on Ebay.

It's a bumpy ride, but hey, it's a jeep!! It's a fun vehicle to have to get outside and go for ride in. Take the top off and let the wind cool you down an a sunny day. You just can't beat that.
