1982 Jeep CJ

In the description, the seller indicates that this CJ7 is in "overall very good condition," and that it is "primed and ready for paint," with only "one small oil leak at the dipstick." These were all flagrant lies. This vehicle leaks at 4-5 places at the engine and at least 2 in the transmission. the cost of repairs (as told to me by two separate shops) were grossly outpace the valule of the jeep.

The Ebay vehicle protection was a bit difficult to put up with at first. Though I'm grateful that it exists at all, I think there should be some changes with how/what they cover. They will not cover rust on a car/truck/etc over 10 years old, no matter how much the seller lies. They also will not cover the shipping costs or the cost of estimates (which they require 2 of to TRY and get help from them). The only thing they will cover is UP TO the purchase price. That being said, they DID eventually come through for me on this item with the full purchase price. I just hope that when I try to sell this Jeep HONESTLY (unlike the last guy), I can get enough to cover my shipping and other out-of-pocket expsenses on this nasty mistake.

this is my 1st jeep & it takes a little time too get used to how it handles. it's everything i could want, runs strong & true. it's a real head tuner.the seller worked well with me and made the hold deal as easy as he could.it's good to have that kind of sellers to buy from,many thanks to him.hopfully the scrambler will last me many years.i give it a 9 out of 10.need i say more?

100% satisfied with the Jeep. Excellent experience. This was my first ebay experience. Purchased the Jeep to work on it as a summer project.
