What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I own a 1995 Jaguar XJS Convertible (Black). To me, there is nothing classier than this car in black with a black top...although, the 2 tones are nice, they don't compare to the classic black on black roadsters. I bought mine for $15,000 last year and I couldn't believe that I could afford such an awesome car for so little. Why would anyone go out and buy a new one for $80,000 - $100,000 when you can own a 1995 or 1996 model, which I still believe is the most beautiful model Jaguar has ever designed, for under $15,000. The 95' and 96' models have the "cat's eye" lense head lights as opposed to the previous models that had the 4 circular lamps...once again, the 95' and 96' models are much classier than the previous year models for this reason alone. Also, I believe that 95' was the first year after Ford had completely renovated the production line at Jaguar and made countless improvements. One more thing, my Jag has the 4.0 liter 6 cylinder motor...this thing has some get up when it's needed, but still manages to get between 20-24 mpg (high octane only)...the only problem that I've heard of with this motor was the catalitic converters were recalled by the factory because they were causing the exhaust manifolds to crack. Mine was recalled and fixed before I bought it and I haven't had any problems since then. If you do buy one of these Jaguar XJS Convertibles, you'll be glad you did! I get compliments on mine every day I drive it!!!

I bought my 95 XJS on ebay over a year ago, The 6 cylinder is a great engine and has more power than I would ever use. I have had no electrical problems with the car at all. Routine maintnance can be a little costly, but you have to expect this from a car capable of this level of performance. The styling of this vehicle is timeless; everywhere I go, it turns heads! These are great vehicles for the price.
