2003 Honda Civic

This is my second Honda product to own. Our other car is a 2002 Honda Odyssey. Our 2003 Honda Civic LX has a manual transmission and had just under 99K on it when we bought the car. Honda's are known for running FOREVER IF they are well cared for (and just shy of forever if you just do the basics!). The 4 cyl. 1.7 L engine sometimes seems to need an extra push, but I am usually driving the Odyssey with a bit more horsepower! I have gotten excellent gas mileage (39mpg on highway @ 80mph average and about 31 in town with some highway miles occasionally) and have not been bothered by the slightly louder engine sounds while driving on the interstates. I also would recommend getting your windows tinted to help with keeping the car at a constant temperature...plus it makes it look a bit more luxurious than what it really is! The stereo is basic. The trunk space is surprising for the size of the car. The back seat is surprising comfortable for a compact sedan. I love the Honda line of cars and they have a superb reputation for being a great car!

Even though I bought this Civic Hybrid with high mileage, it runs and performs like a champ! It has as much pep as I need for daily driving and famiy trips, and that's what I bought it for. Just watch those gas prices rise... I'm ready!

I bought my 2003 Honda Civic Lx new with 25 miles. It now has 107,000. It has been the most dependable car. Great on gas. I have only had to do the regular maintenance to the car. Brakes, oil changes, tires. I had a timiling belt changed at 100,000 for preventative maintance. I expect this car to last another 100,000 with no problems. I am very pleased with this car. Would highly reccommend. Honda has mastered this model apparenly due to the length of time they have been making Civics.

It gives 40 mile per gallo on average.

this is a great car with gas sky-rocketing..it has an electric assist motor. this motor helps propel the gas engine when acceleration is needed. such as pulling out from a stop or pulling large hills.the motor(electric) is ran using batteries that are recharged by the gas engine. when coming to a stop the gas engine stops running completely when brake is applied.the moment the brake is released immediately the gas engine restarts helping to save more fuel.though not a power plant the auto does have plenty of git up and go. the battery replacement is quite expensive around 2200.00 - 2500.00 but this is expected to become less expensive as more hybrids are sold. my understanding is these batteries were 3500.00 just a year ago (late 2006).the previous owner of this hybrid told me the batteries are warranted for 150,000 miles or ten years. i do not know this to be factual.if you decide to buy an auto like this make sure the ima (motor assist) light goes off after the engine starts if the light stays on you will need to have a diagnostic Computer read.do this before your purchase..i hope this helps you in you next purchase. this hybrid gets around 40 miles per gallon city.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic and I absolutely love it. It has a five speed manual transmission and I get great gas mileage. It averages around 35-38 miles per gallon. I have never had any problems out of it. I would definitely recommend this car.

I absolutly love what this car looked like in the pictures I wish the discription would have been a little more honest, I know somethings were left out due to risk of not getting enough out of this car, I would have bought it either way. There are a few screwy things on the vehicle that need to be fixed but are an easy fix. Overall, it's in great condition for what it's been through. And would do it all over again, with all the backing it was a smart deal. I am glad I found it on ebay.

car came nothing like described, cant do anything about it since it was sold as is. They didnt even describe any of the problems it had, now I have to spend $3400 on a new turbo, so I can drive my new car. DONT BUY A CAR OFF EBAY EVER!

when i first saw the add on this vehicle, i kind of like the shape of the car. since i never owed a honda before, i didn't know much about them. But since I been driven it, I was impress how much engine performance you can get on this vehicle. very economic on fuel use, they are very countable with plenty room inside, front and back. and the size overall, is perfect to drive in the city or in high conggested traffic areas. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS VEHICLE!
