What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I am one of those people who traded in my gas-guzzling truck for a fuel efficient vehicle. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this vehicle. I never thought I would drive anything other then a truck, I'm 6'2" and 240lbs and it fits me like a glove. I was looking at the Acura TL and drove an Audi A4 and I decided on the Civic. The TL was about 12,000 more new although I loved it and the Audi just didn't have the same room, plus there wasn't as much "Bang for the buck." I decided on the Civic because it was the most efficient, offered the most room for its size, and I could still get leather, navigation, sun-roof...etc. After I bought it I drove from CT to GA and with a fully loaded vehicle traveling at speeds around 75 and faster when I could I still got about 34-35 mpg's. Considering the circumstances that was great! If I would drove around th speed limit and didnt have a full load I dont see why I couldn't pull-off close to 40 mpg's. I did all this in comfort and with style. I think the decision Honda made to put leather in these things was awesome! In todays environment that is the direction we are headed. People want to pay for luxury but dont want to have to pay alot for operating costs and that is exactly what you get in this vehicle. Also, you are buying a respected brand in the area of quality and cutting-edge design and that is what I found with this vehicle. The only draw-back to me would be power but Honda did a good job about masking this with mating the 140 hp motor with a 5-speed auto transmission. This allowed them to use a very low first gear that gives this vehicle plenty of pep off the line and makes it fun to drive in a city environment. The suspension is excellent, and the steering is extremely tight (at least compared to my truck). The only area's I noticed the lack of power was at higher highway speeds. At the end of the day that is nothing to complain about because it is an economy car and it does get excellent gas mileage and that is why I bought the vehicle. The Civic SI does have a 197 hp so maybe someone from Honda will read this and try to squeeze another 10 or 15hp out of the standard Civic motor. All in all the car is excellent, I was able to negotiate a little on the price so I paid a hair under 22K and I have many of the same options of cars that cost nearly twice that. If you are looking to buy a name instead of a car, look at the Audi's and BMW's, but if you are looking to make a smart economical decision that is in no-way anything to be ashamed of, take a look at the EX-L model Civic, you will be impressed.

I recently won this car on a no-reserve bid. Problem is 12 hours after my winning bid, someone cancels the transaction. Ebay is impossible to get a hold of by phone. After hours I accomplished that. They told me the transaction was cancelled and they refused to tell me if it was by them or the seller. Also, they would not give me any contact info on the seller. In other words, although I won the car, I can not find out: 1) who cancelled it, ebay or the seller. 2) how to contact the seller. Ebay does not car because we electronically stated we would not hold them accountable and they got paid. My only option is legal to get ebay to show me who the seller is. Then, to try to collect. The problem, by the time all this happens the car will be gone. We use Ebay for deals. The problem is when you win a bid, others will still solicite the seller. When the seller backs out, EBAY DOES NOT HAVE YOUR BACK--THEY HAVE THE SELLERS (THE PERSON THAT PAYS THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

• Overall Satisfaction:
i bought this car for an employee of mine.I call the seller and talk with him about the car and ask if the car had any damage to the frame, his answer vas that no damage to the frame was done and no work has been done on the frame. When i went to pick the car up i notice that the frame was worked on and confront the seller about it.At that point the seller try to renegociate the sell price. When we agree on a new price the seller ask me to leave a feed back on ebay so he can see that i leave a good feed back.At the end i'm ok with the deal but i would not deal with the guy again. To this date he still did not leave a feed back.

2008 Honda Civic: 2008 civic coupe std trans

Satndard trans coupe has great performance considering the mpg. I'm glad I didn't hold out for the SI. Stock version is a better balanced car in my opnion. If your all about performance & not mpg. The acura TL has more stonk with a minimal mpg dif & better amenities. In the amenitie dept the civic looses some ground. The coupe doesn't have good perriferal vision when backing, the radio is crap & there is a lot of road noise v/s a higher line model. Sound deadening adds cost & weight so road noise should be expected but it's nothing a little undercaoting sprayed inside the doors & else where can't solve. ( I hope) The stock speakers have to go & I'm planing on doing this when I swap the speakers.

2008 Honda Civic: 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid Salvage title

Buying a Civic is buying the least repaired most dependable car sold in the USA. With that in mind I bought this hybrid with a salvage title as I know it will perform. This is our 5th Ebay vehicle purchase. My last car was a VW TDI, I paid $15,900, ran it for 80,000 miles, bought the Hybrid for $13,900. All I am interested in is "how much do I pay per vehicle mile." As you can see, the cost of the vehicle exchange is very low, the VW was sold for $10,800. The Civic gets me 54 on the country road and 44 in the city. The CHP and the local Honda fealer both checked out this car and both said they could not tell it from new. It had 11,500 miles on it when purchased. A new car dealer will never get any of my business as I don't like paying twice as much. My rankings above are all pretty high and the only little complaint I would have is that the road noise is louder than I would care to have.

I love the design of this car. It looks great. The raked back windsheild and the corner glass are nice touches. It's nicely appointed w/ all the standard features and more. Everything is intuitive and easy to use. Build quality is great. The digital/analog split dash takes a little getting used to but it doesn't take long to really love it. The radio is nice and the controls are easy. The nicest thing now is the ~40mpg I get on the highway! Mixed/city driving yields 28-32. This should be an easy car to sell down the road and I expect it to hold it's value well.

On the down side, it's not the most comfortable car for long trips. It rides smooth and quiet, but the seats start to hurt after 4 or 5 hours in the saddle. They're not as adjustable as I'd like, but in fairness they're probably great for cars in this class/price range.

The salvage title has not been an issue at all. This is the 2nd car I've bought this way, and it really saves a lot of money up front. I expect to sell it at a lower price down the road, but that still makes it less total cost of ownership. What was considered a fender bender in the past could total a car like this today. As long as you are not a nit-picky perfectionist and have some reciepts or proof that the repair was done at a reputable shop, you should be good to go.
