What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2005 Honda Accord: Bang for the Buck

• Overall Satisfaction:
I have been in Germany for 3 years of my life and driving BMW 3 series and Benz C class. When I got back to the US in 2005 I decided to buy myself a new car. Now after considerable amount of research, I decided to buy a HOnda Accord EX V6. This is the top end model in Honda Sedans and matches BMW 330 series and is way better than the 325 series.
The 325 series comes in 184Bhp and 330 series comes with 235 bhp where as the accord V6 is 242Bhp. The costs are:
BMW 325 series : $30000 - $39000
BMW 330 series : $35000 - $44000
What I paid for my Honda Accord EX V6: 27000 (after a lot of bargaining, i got 4000 off on the showroom price). This price includes all the goodies

Now I decided its not worth spending an extra $10000 for features like a beep once you cross 75mph etc. BMW is definitely a status car no doubt, but I think the accord V6 EX is a practical car. If you want sheer pickup and speed, dont buy the 4 cylinder model. A lot of people feel that its similar to V6. No way, I have driven both versions. The V6 will literally fly if it had wings :-)

The car also comes loaded with features like 6 cd changer, leather seats, seat heating and much much more. What I probably feel could be improved is the AC. The car is relatively bigger than the BMW. Theres plently of room in the back. But the AC is not powerful enough for the people sitting behind to feel comfortable on a very hot day. Especially last summer in california when the temp went up to 110 degrees.

So overall if you want a fast good looking and comfortable car for a reasonable price, the Accord V6 EX is a great buy

The car has a great ride. Unfortunately, I purchased it off Ebay Motors and was scammed by the dealer - North Coast Auto - Cleveland. They advertised all the features as working but 6CD Changer did not. Because it was bought online they hide behind the 'as-is'notice, so be careful, as dealers can write whatever they want and you have no recourse. Ebay and Paypal (deposit) basically side with dealers and not the consumer (even though they tout their fraud protection program ). It is an interesting way to do business - be deceptive and take the money and run. Anyway, keep this in mind if you are thinking of purchasing online from this dealer or from ebay motors. By the way, the car was 1,000 miles past warranty and Honda (despite the inaccurate odometers refused to resolve the problem also).

I bought this car for my son and while we both liked it, it was not the car we thought it would be. If you are going to buy a Honda Accord, go for the ex. It is worth spending the extra money with the features that come with that model.

This car gets decent gas mileage and is fairly comfortable if you are driving less than 350 miles at a time. Maybe it is my age (57) that is talking, lol. We ended up getting a 2003 EX-L that was a better car and spent about the same money with same miles.

Honda like Toyota and Nissan are well known for their reliability and longevity, so it is usually a good deal if the car has been maintained.

I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX- and I love it! It is by far, the best car money can buy! You never have to worry about a Honda breaking down on the highway! Reliable & economical! When it was time to look for a car, I was trading my *other car in for practically pennies! Hondas were the only cars I would consider! I love the car now, and I KNOW I will when it comes time to trade it in too!!

i've only heard great things about the honda accord so thought I would pick one that had been taken good care of. Maybe it was or maybe it wasn't... the seller had recently changed brakes and the slight jerk to the right when you step on the brake was attributed to that. However that wasn't the problem. I took it into Honda to be repaired and after spending over 800.00 on it they have not been able to figure out the problem. I would NOT purchase this item again if given the choice. And certainly would think twice about buying a car online where the seller claims he is a certified mechanic!

This is a nice, small luxury car. Purchased at 32000 miles used. Handles well. Gets ~35 miles per gallon in combination trip plus city driving - 1500 miles. Had problem with interior noise - but Honda has that figure out now and parts have been ordered by local dealer to fix.

The purchase I made was a 2005 Honda Accord. I bought it for my mother who is 72 years old going on 30 and I wanted her to have something she would be safe in, reliable and with good gas mileage (it had to look good too). I found it with Lisa and Wendi. I recommend anyone looking for a good used car to look them up.

2005 Honda Accord: Honda Accord XLE

Going from the Avalon XLS, my Honda Accord is a tight squeeze to get in and out of due to the raised edge of the seats. Lots of head bumping at first. Road noise is obvious. However, I love all the features in my Honda. The Accord XLE is over the top with all the extras that other vehicle makers would charge an arm and a leg for. Good ride, lots of get up and go, easy to handle, good gas mileage and I feel safe on curves and narrow roads. I love it!
