1992 GMC Safari

this van is overall a very good and very reliable van. I bought it two years ago with 195,000 miles on it. it now has 213,000. the paint and body was just about flawless. there was some minor chipping on the top and some chipping on the hood. after seeing it i went to the dealer and bought some touch up paint. i'd say for a kid in his final year of high school this was a very good vehicle. it got me everywhere i needed to go and only broke down on me once. the one time was my fault because i didnt tighten the battery cable up all the way. the reason i gave it a 4 out of 5 on craftsmanship was because i got in a front end accident in may of 07 and im having problems with the radiatior support because it isnt bolted in,its welded in. but if not involved in a serious front end collision, it is a wonderful vehicle and i encourage all parent to buy their kids one for their first car because if they wreck it, the parents wont be out of much money. if you search in the right places you can find one for real decent price. i bought my first for 500 and my parts van for 200. they are very affordable!
