2004 Ford Thunderbird: Pacific Coast Roadster #175 out of 1000

Well - you'll really enjoy this car. My wife and I have spent hours driving to nowhere, and enjoy every minute of it. Heated-seats and air-conditioning (both highly recommended, but not installed on all T-Birds) extend "convertible season" to 7 maybe 8 months in the Northern Mid-West. Performance is very nice and sporty in both power and handling (those curvy back country roads are really fun, especially during the Fall while being leaf-peepers).

Technically speaking, the Platform Control Module (PCM) and Ignition Coils (1 per cylinder) are subject to failure (do Google searches). Fortunately Ford Motor Company warranty covered these items for us, saving literally thousands in repair costs. Do your research on problems you may exeperience, as you may need to coax your dealership along in finding ways to cover these (hint-hint), as most seem to be 8-year items.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: 2004 Ford Thunderbird - Triple Black

06/02/07
• Overall Satisfaction:
I had been shopping a number of specific vehicles for months search for just the right one that delivered great value, fun, uniqueness, and most importantly, one that I looked good in! When my 2004 triple black Ford Thunderbird appeared on the listings I thought this is too good to be true and worried that other T-Bird enthusiasts would be all over this car. As it turned out, the reserve was not met but I was the high bidder and when the dealer called soon after closing I said to myself, this is it, this car is mine. The car was shipped right on schedule and is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! It is everthing I thought it would be and more! And, talk about a fun ride! Hardtop on or off, ragtop up or down, the car is a beauty! The car glistens like new inside and out. everthing that should be with the car came with it. Hardtop rack, hardtop cover, convertible boot, coin cup/ash tray, and all the keys, manuals, original window sticker, etc. It was a great experience working with eBay Motors.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: Great Value, Very Satisfied

I found this car for my father, He owned a 56 T-bird that he misses driving very much. This is as close to it I could come up with, I know that it will never fully replace the 56 Bird, but this car is smooth to drive and as sharp in appearance as he will ever want.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: Thunderbirds are unique

11/10/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
The original 50s Ford Thunderbirds were the dream cars of my youth and this retro Thunderbird delivers all the excitement of that by- gone era, while encorporating the technology of modern vehicles. My 2004 is an outstanding cruiser with the feel and performance of a much sportier car. The styling is so different from any other vehicle you see on the road and is a real eye turner. The 3.9 liter V8 seems the perfect match for the weight of the car and has been rock solid in performance and reliability. Even considering the need for premium fuels, the excellent mileage of 24+mpg makes operation affordable. You do have to accept the lack of trunk space and low head room, especially with the hardtop on; however if this is what you need then you are looking at the wrong vehicle. The Thunderbird is a real joy to drive and amazingly comfortable on long trips. There is plenty of leg room and very little road noise. The sound system is excellent. The Retro-Bird truly brings out my passion for driving.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: AN ULTIMATE DRIVING EXPERIENCE !!

09/14/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
I had no intention of buying a T-Bird. Until I drove one. These cars are WAY under estimated! They haul, and can handle like an exoitc sports car. The gas miliage is truly impressive at 25-30 mpg. Creature comforts are in there too.! A real show stopper for a late model classic. I've owned over 100 cars in my lifetime and at 58 years old I still love a performance automobile. This is THE BEST OF THE BEST!! It's hard to understand why anybody would want to sell one!! These cars will continue to appriciate in value, now that the economy is nearing a bottom, and not to mention, THEY DON"'T MAKE'EM ANYMORE!! Ford has never made a better automobile. PERIOD!

2004 Ford Thunderbird: BAD CHOICE------GOT SCREWED BIG TIME

08/25/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
I MADE A BAD CHOICE IN BUYING THIS VEHICLE ON EBAY. LOOK AT THE DISCRIPTION YOUSELF. THEY COULD HAVE POINTED OUT THE BODY DAMAGE WITH A POINTER OR JUST WITH A FINGER POINT. THIS CAR HAD $805.57 BODY AND PAINT DAMAGE TO LEFT FRONT ALONG. IT HAD NONE MATCHING TIRES. TWO FALKENS ON FRONT AND TWO WORN OUT FIRESONES ON REAR. IT HAD BEEN REPAINTED ON DRIVERS DOOR. CLEAR COAT IS PEELING. THIS SHOULD ALL HAVE BEEN POINTED OUT OR LISTED.ALSO THERE WAS A BIG GUAGE IN REAR BUMPER COVER, ALSO CRUISE CONTROL DONT WORK. ALSO ALL OF THE SYMBOLS ARE GONE {WORN OFF} ON CRUISE CONTROL. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN LISTED OR PICTURED. AGAIN READ THE DISCRIPTION OF VEHICLE. DO YOU SEE ANYTHING OTHER THAN EXCELLENT LISTED IN BOLD LETTERS NOT ONE TIME BUT TWO TIMES. I GAVE $15900 FOR A CAR THAT WAS WORTH ABOUT $14000. SHAME ON ME. I LEARNED MY LESSON. YOU WOULDNT BE HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE WHY SHOULD I. I MUST HAVE CALLED AT LEAST 15 TIMES TO GET ANYTHING DONE AND ONLY AFTER SAYING I WAS GOING TO EBAY DID THEY FINALLY SAY THEY WOULD ONLY GO $500.00 AND THAT WAS ONLY IF I LEFT A GOOD FEEDBACK FIRST. WHAT A RIP OFF. $500.00 DIDNT NEAR COVER ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH THIS CAR. ALSO I FORGOT TO SAY THAT THE TRANSPORTERS TRUCK BLEW A HYDROLIC LINE IN TRANSPORT AND THE CAR WAS TOTALLY COVERED IN HYDROLIC FLUID. YOU THINK I MAY HAVE SOME REASONS FOR BEING UNHAPPY. TRANSPORTERS ADMITTED BLOWING LINE AND OFFERED $25.00 FOR CLEANUP. I COULDNT GET NOTHING DONE FOR $25.00 WHOLE CAR NEEDED CLEANED AND POLISHED. THIS HAS BEEN THE VERY WORST TRANSACTION EVER MADE.PERIOD!!! I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE BEEN SMARTER OR THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE HONEST. SHAME ON ME. JOE

2004 Ford Thunderbird: Vintage Mint Green Gem

07/12/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
This car is perfect. 4 years old, 13000 miles and just like it came off the showroom floor. We drove it home fome Illinois and the ride was exceptional. I even got 28.5 MPG on the trip from this powerful 8 cylinder. It is a real head turner. I couldn't be happier with this car.

2004 Ford Thunderbird: '04 Bird Love...

05/10/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
I wanted the "new" T-bird about 4+ years ago; however, after a disturbing test drive with a very "jerky" salesman, my husband said no way to the T-bird! My dreams were dashed...but not totally. The end of lease on my Lexus RX330 was near...and my 45th birthday was right around the corner...I decided that a 2004 Vintage Mint Green Thunderbird was the perfect gift to ring in my 45th year! I am so happy with the car. When you turn that ignition key, it sounds like a jet! The color, the ride, the hard-top with the portholes...I love it all. I always wanted a T-bird, but needed/wanted a reliable car with the modern conveniences of today...I got just that with the "new" T-bird. The first time I drove it, I felt like I was in a vintage car without the worry that it was going to breakdown or the door was going to fall off! Also, this car definitely gets people's attention! Love, love, love the car. What more can I say?

2004 Ford Thunderbird: Outstanding 2 seat top down sport cruiser!

01/16/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
This car is pure joy to drive on a sunny weekend. Quiet smooth running with a slight retro tuned rumble to put a smile on your face. Romantic cruiser reminiscent of a simpler time that brings compliments from everyone. The top lowers from a button quick enough to do at a stoplight. 280 hp has plenty of power with a smooth shifting transmission. Luxury ride with distinctive appeal from the early years. I just love this car and find it to be the best value for a luxury roadster purchase. The premium trim provides heated leather seats and the optional port hole hardtop for year round use. Power everything including tilt and telescopic steering wheel with memory that makes entry very easy. Truly to become a classic.
