1995 Ford Taurus

Three weeks before I bought the green 1995 Taurus SHO my daughter was broadsided by a truck and her car was totaled.It just happened to be a green 1995 Taurus SHO,a car she cared about a great deal.Even thought she was in a great deal of pain, she was more worried about her car.She could have had any other style of car but she wanted the same year,same color Ford Taurus SHO.So we searched Ebay for two weeks until we happened upon the car we eventually ended up winning.We bid higher than what we paid for the first one but the seller described it as in excellent condition.So we drove the 500 miles to pay for it and pick it up but as we were inspecting it we found a foot wide dent in the rear driver side door and a 50 cent size rust bubble behind the rear wheel(later we found out the rear coil springs were broke so it could not be aligned)but all in all the smile on my daughters face when she first got in the car makes all the problems seem small.So as with most everything we buy off of Ebay,we were happy with our purchase and happy to have Ebay to take the hassle out of shopping for hard to find items.

I was high bidder on Oct5,2008.The owner told me to contact him on Tues.,Oct7.I did.I made arrangements for me to pick up & pay cash on Saturday,Oct.11,2008.On Oct.11,I called (484)614-3053(Joe)3 times for directions from Mahanoy,City to his address.He never returned a call & has reposted the 1995 Ford Taurus that I won in the auction.This is outrageous.I think sellers like this should be banned from e-bay.It makes you look bad.

Was looking for a car i could fix up so my daughter could use it to get to college. Got more than i ever expeced.

I liked because of the low price. I then later found out it needed a complte muffler system,brakes,speedometer,wipers,door locks, and a/c problems. The bottom of the car was completely rusted. The ford dealership said to get rid of the car. Big mistake to purchase.

Looks like a normal taurus, has 220HP and can really move. If possible get the stick shift, more reliable and faster. Great handling and interior comfort. Alot of good options. This was the first true american touring sedan, the competition was the BMW and Mercedes sedans. Ford did it right.

With this particular purchase, Two parties benefited. I had a friend who is out of work and needed a car to get to his new job. Im not rich as a Oil Barron, but nonetheless, I could help him out. The vehicle purchased was from a Non-Profit Org, Volunteers of America, more people helping people. It is a strong performer, as described, and a true help to both my friend, and someone else out there who can benfit from the funds of the sale. I know that in both cases, the benfit is beyond the few dollars spent from my pocket. Overall, it was a great transaction. A bit consuming, but only for a short period of time. Id do it again.
