2008 Ford Mustang

After purchasing an SC281 Saleen and a Shelby GT500 to warehouse and not drive, I couldn't stand it any longer and decided to purchase one of of these cars to use as it was intended. After nearly a year long search, I found a still new 427R Trak Pak in Illinois that the dealer was ready to unload at a reasonable price. Immediately following delivery and with only 200 miles on the clock, I took it to VIRginia International Raceway to drive the 3.27 mile road course with only a set of half worn TOYO RA1 track tires altering it from its showroom condition. I didn't even initially install the Hawk track pads that came in the trunk (mistake!) or make any adjustments to the camber (you can get up to negative 3 degrees!) or carbon fiber wing and with the factory (Roush) exhaust system. This car was UNBELIEVABLE in the corners and on the straights! The brakes were phenomenal even with the street pads although they began to fade at the end of the two long straightaways (3,000 & 4,000 feet long). Not only was the performance more than I expected, but the car's bold looks captivated everyone's attention at the track that day! This truly is a street legal race car and Roush/Ford spent the money in all the right places! Well done!

It is an awesome car for the money. The Shaker 1000 sound system is a must if you are a music lover. Its the best stereo I have ever had in a vehicle. With the MP3 aux plug under the center arm rest it makes carrying and enjoying my entire CD collection a beeze!!
The engine and transmission are responsive and smooth.The suspension and tires make it grip the road like no other car I have ever driven. It has American muscle with the handling that the old Mustangs just didn't have.
The overall construction of the car seems solid and well thought out.
I will have to see how it holds up over the next few years. I just got it so hopefully it will hold up to normal driving.

I recently purchased a 2008 Ford Mustang GT Convertible from
Long Beach Pacific Ford though Buy it now on Ebay. The car
is VERY
roomy up front as I am fairly tall, and head room galore. The
inside is beautifully trimmed out in chrome. The ride is quiet
for a convertible which tends to be noisy at times but the
inside of
the roof has padding to absorb some of the noise. The only
negative would be little leg room in the back but that goes
with most convertibles that have a back seat. I am an avid
Mustang GT purchaser, as I have owned a 1981,1985,1988,1999,
and now this 2008. Power is fantastic seems to more powerful
than my 1999 GT. So far so good, could have had an 09 for
about the same price but this 2008 was too awesome to pass
up. The entire experience from start to finish was
incredible,had it shipped from California to West Virginia
in no time! I tried a 2009 locally and looked at the
2010 but I loved the way the 08 looks and drives and the
sound only a Mustang GT can make.

All i can say is that its heads over heals better then the standard GT mustang. Read the Stats and reviews online and you'll find out why. The exhaust is unique to the movie "Bullitt" and i couldn't be happier with the car itself.

This car was bought for my husband who loves loves the Mustang Cobras. Had one already, but wanted one of the newer retro styling also, with of course the awesome power of 500 horses under the hood! He love, love, loves his new Cobra and gets lots of admiring looks, and 'thumbs up' from folks where ever we go. We'd shopped around the past few years, but they were hard to find & selling at 20K over sticker price everywhere we looked! Outrageous! So, we decided to look on-line and see how they were selling in this 'down' market. We were actually able to purchase ours BELOW sticker price, so quite a savings! Transaction went very smoothly, everyone very helpful. We had a great on-line purchasing experience. We're very satisfied, and We LOVE our awesome 2008 Shelby Cobra & it's amazing 500 horses!!!

This has been my dream car since it came out in October 07. I owned a 66 Shelby GT350 in the past and the 08 Shelby reminded me so much of that car. There has been a lot of improvements in 42 years and the 08 Shelby GT will not disappoint anyone. Good performance, good trim and fit, great exhaust sound, comfortable and easy to use interior, and I love the looks. Even though new buyers had to pay a gas guzzler tax, I averaged 27 mph on the road trip home.
The only caution is the suspension has been upgraded by Shelby for better handliing and the ride is a little stiff for cruising.
I am extremely please with the car and my Ebay experience buying it.
