2000 Ford Mustang

I LIKE THIS CAR BECAUSE IT IS SPORT AND IT HAS GOOD COLOUR AND MORE IMPORTANT THING FOR INSIDE IS LIKE NEW.

I did own this car for a period of about 25 minutes. Basically put a deposit down and I drove NINE hours to pick the car up from a Pennsylvania Ford dealership. The car didn't just need a detailing, it needed an entire paint job! The oil was Black and LOW and they wouldn't even give me any to top it up, they told me to go across the road to the gas station. After I accepted it as it was, purchased the vehicle and signed all of the paperwork over, I drove 2 Minutes down the road the car started gushing gas out of the side of the gas tank all over the ground (while I was filling up). It wouldn't hold more than a half tank without pouring out! I turned around and got my money back. WOW you would think at a reputable Ford dealership like John Kennedy Ford of Phoenixville Pa. would not try to screw a fellow canadian citizen over. Sadly, now I am now EXTREMELY HESITANT to buy anything over Ebay..

not to mention all of the money I wasted converting over to pay in US funds and the expeneses of travelling down there hotels, gas etc.

I just hope this doesn't happen to somebody else...

Well, I have had expensive new and used sports cars before, and this one, although older technology with more miles, is probably what I needed all along.

No payment, inexpensive insurance, I can take it places and park it without fear and the organization I purchased it from couldn't have been more easy to work with from the moment I saw it to the time I drove it off the lot.

This car can become a hobby. I can look for parts on Ebay to upgrade...not that it needs it...I can talk to people about the car without them looking down on it as a driveway queen.

I may actually get a set of tools and try and regularly maintain it!

Don't fear buying an automobile on Ebay. This is my second, all for personal use, and I have been pleased.

I bought the 2000 Mustang because I am completely in love with American muscle cars. Especially Mustangs and I could afford the 2000 and it had low miles.
I like almost everything about it, it's fast, it runs nice [it's LOUD :)], and it doesn't drain my account to fill the tank. Only things I don't like is that it's starting to have trouble firing up, but when it does it roars, also it fish-tails like crazy in the snow, you can learn to handle it though after a while. All in all I love my mustang.

um well not shur if this is a seller or what i was not and will not pay for this car or any thing els from seller im trying 2 contact ebay on this matter but nit shur how it said the seller was no longer a ebay member they never contacted me back .

i like it because of the body looks and it make some good power from the v8 engine.why i decide to buy i had a 93 mustang so i decide to go up on the year this time to good more looks

I bought the car for my daughter , always the seller not descripe the car 100% and he depend on ,you coming to his location and you spent a money and time so,you will take it to drive it back and if you decided not buy it,ebay will believe him and give you unpaid item strick although the descripe is not complete and accurate.
ebay need to change the policy,if anyone bid in item and don't pay for it, yes give him unpaid item strick but speciallt for the cars,if the winner fly and found the car not as descripe,the seller responsible to reimburse the buyer the cost of travilling and expenses because he is not honest from the beginning and I personally lost too much money to flying from Nashville,TN. to Florida and New york . also the worest thing is the seller as for nonrefundable deposit because if you coming and don't buy it you will loss your deposit beside your travilling cost.
anyway, if ebay need help on how to manage selleing cars and what you can add to protect both seller and buyer and also the seller is responsible 100% on his descripe not like what I see now,most of the seller say,I am not responsible for correct descripe,so Who's responsible and it's not logic the buyer flying just to look at the car , no it's not correct.

this was an absolutely amazing vehicle and the seller was the most professional human being i have ever done business with on ebay. his knowledge of the automobile and the care that he put into this vehicle is impressive. i recommend he be voted ebay seller of the year. thanks again for the pleasure of doing business with such an honest individual!!!!

I have had my 2000 Mustang V6 since new. It currently has about 65,000 miles on it and is still running as good as it did when I drove it home from the dealer. It has a been a great car...nothin' like putting the top down and going for a fast ride on a windy road. Had some great memories in it too... girls seem to love this car. Wish the back seat was bigger. ;)

The ride is fantastic.... it's definitely firmer than your average sedan, but it makes for better handling. Every time I drive another car I am reminded how great the mustang drives. Usually the first thing I notice when I get behind the wheel of my mustang is that it sits much lower than your average car and thus doesn't roll in the corners nearly as much. I haven't driven the V8, but I am sure it drives even better.

The V6 certainly has enough power though. When I test drove cars like the 2008 Prius and the 2008 Mitssubishi Lancer I was disgusted. How can people drive these hogs? Rear wheel drive certainly drives MUCH better than front wheel drive unless of course when you're in the snow. The Mustang does not like snow!

I'm getting tired of writing this now so I'll just cut to the point:

Things that suck:
-Cop magnet, just got a ticket yesterday!
-Top is starting to show sun damage (will probably have to be replaced in a few years, nonetheless I'm surprised how well it's held up)
-The interior materials are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP and don't tolerate much abuse.
-Replacing a window is a HUGE pain in the @*# because the doors (interior) are cheaply snapped into place. After replacing the left front window the door has not been the same, fits loose and feels like it might fall off in my hand.
-Automatic transmission can jerk you around if you don't drive it with some finesse. (seems like they fixed that problem in the 04 model which has a much smoother transmission)
-Very noisy inside. Passengers often ask me if a window is open. Oh well, I've gotten used to it.
-I've replaced the air pump twice at about $400 each time!
-Original tires lasted only 35,000 miles
-Original brakes lasted 35,000 and 60,000 (front/rear)
-Original battery lasted to 60,000
-No other major mechanical problems so far

Things I like:
-Girls like it, definitely more fun than your average Hyundai
- The top works great
-Still turns heads when she's all shined up. Great looking car.
-Very responsive 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds. (not tremendously fast, but enough to make you feel safe on the highway)
- 4 Seats!!!!
- Decent sized trunk for a convertible, (won't fit my golf clubs... I put them in the back seat). Go look at a Pontiac Solstice trunk... what a joke!
- Front seats are awesome. Comfortable enough to sit 7 hours in and supportive enough to burn donuts with. Back seats are another story but hey, people don't usually sit back there anyway. At least I have a back seat.
- You will be surprised how much you can fit in this car. I moved every single thing out of my freshman dorm into this car.
- Audio system has held up remarkably well. I use it daily and the CD player is finally starting to make sick noises and refuse to give me my CD back every now and then. I just slap it and show it who's boss on a occasion.
-Decent insurance rates
-Decent gas mileage I average about 22-25

Bottom line:
The mustang has its draw backs in being cheaply constructed, but hey you'll be hard pressed to find a another 4 seat convertible at such a low price with good performance.
