What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The only thing I DIDN'T like were the few things that weren't working well, that I wasn't informed about. However, for the price it was a great mustang.
Very happy.

I purchased this car with the knowledge that it was in need of total restoration! It had rust in the general areas known to these cars and the interior was in bad shape! It is a typicall Mustang from the era that had not been well cared for. The engine runs but is also in need of some attention!

I have never worked on a car, so… for me to buy a 1972 Mustang was a new venture. I was born in 1970, and wanted a car close to the same age I am. I had been looking for a while before I ran across my new toy. The car is great, and I can’t explain how great it feels to put the top down and just cruse. I have installed new seats, a steering wheel, and a few other interior cosmetic pieces since purchasing the car – just because. It’s become family time for my wife and 2 daughters – and you can’t replace times like that. Besides that, I haven’t ever been honked and waived at like this (especially from men) – and I’ve owned some really nice cars. People just love Mustangs for what they represent – pure USA. I’m thrilled with my purchase… and wouldn’t sell the car for 4 times what I paid for it!!! Thanks EBay

This is a great car, well built, strong and reliable but mostly fun to drive, especially with the bigger engines.

This car is a collector Mustang. All muscle cars are collectors. I like all mustangs and this car was a bargain. The fact it is driveable now makes it even more valuable.

1972 Ford Mustang: Poor system
12/11/07

Before buying a car on ebay, you really need to go look at the car before bidding, you don't get to know the car by pictures, pictures still hide alot of the flaws and they can be taken to just miss the flaws besides. If I would have seen this car before bidding, I wouldn't have boughten it. Now for ebay, this is NOT about the 1972 Mustang, your feedback system sucks, most sellers don't give feedback until you do, so you can not be honest about poor sellers. As soon as you give negative feedback, they lie and return the negative feedback so you just don't give them any at all. Buyer should not be able to give any feedback unless seller already has, this would be a simple software change but you know, ebay would loose sales so you will never do anything about this big problem. Thanks and have a nice day, Steve.

I love the paint job on this car and it is true to the original paint codes. It is a numbers matching car that photographs very well. However photos do not show the the trouble that can be found under the great job of modern undercoating.
It is a lot of fun to have a car that is easy to navigate under the hood as well as do any simple repairs yourself. There is also a lot of after market companys making parts for these cars wich makes it all the more fun. However it is wise to do so some research on the availabilty of the parts that are available for the particular car you are looking at. It can be come quite a headache and expensive if your car needs a major part or repair due to brake down or rust and the part is not made wich makes your investment almost wothless.
This car proves that internet purchases of an antique are the same as they were in the 1950's of a used car purchase from a used car lot. The ptotections given by the site are few if any and very confusing to navigate and leave very little recourse for the new owner.Other wise I highly recomend to anyone wishing to purchase a car from your youth to not put it off. When you find a reputable sellar and the car of your dreams "go for it". However you should also be warned to go easy and not be so trusting as there are still people that will pray upon others good faith.
