What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The car lives up to my expectations. I will say however that the person that sold me the car was not truthful about the condition of the car. I was told that there was only one small rust hole in the floor pan behind the passenger's seat. Intact all four floor pans are full of holes, the cowl is rusted, and the trunk area is full of rust. Added to that the passenger side seat is broken. I do have to say though that I expected that something like this would happen so I wasn't too upset when I found these problems. That being said the engine is brutally strong and it really runs well. There were several shade tree mechanic type fixes done on things and once I got all of that straightened out I have a pretty solid car. I am in the process of stopping leaks now and will be replacing floor and trunk pans soon. I got this car as a project car and I expect that it will keep me busy for some time. Everytime I drive it I still get a ton of positive comments and it really catches other peoples attention. I do love the car I just hate it when people try to mislead or outright lie about things on ebay. I would have still bought the car if I knew about the problems.

This car has side impact bars in the doors, collapsible steering wheel, external gas tank, crumple zones and soft dash padding.

The Sellers description was deceiving to say the least. Typical Dealer tactics , they claimed complete ignorance about all the problems yet he states that he drove this car for the Summer. In this event he had to know of these conditions becasue they were clearly obvious.

Problems:

1. Transsmission doesnt shift properly into ANY gear.
2. Rear differental knocks when you do get the car into gear.
3. Trunk floor damage. item repaired (VERY POORLY) by seller and attempts ot cover it up were clearly obvious. The Seller claimed he never opened the trunk which is obvioulsy a Line of B.S.

The Seller intentionally witheld information (existing poor conditions) in attempts to seel his vehicle at a premium.
