I bought this car because I had a 1969 Mach I 20-years-ago. I really wanted to recapture the feeling. It was a fixer-upper, with no motor, transmission, or interior. The seller provided many pictures. The car had poewer steering and power disk brakes. These are both desirable features. The shipping for a no motor, no brakes car was much higher than expected. And, the car had a few more defects that I first thought (although the seller offered to send any additional pictures I requested). So, initially, I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew. However, the '70 is an elite muscle car. I have had it a month, and two people have already stopped by to ask me if I "wanted to sell it?" Obviously not. This is the second Mustang I have purchased off ebay, and the third from the Internet. All were a bit worse in-person. That's just FYI for someone buying a car this way. However, overall, I have been satisfied with every purchase. Again, the first time you go driving in a Mustang...my other one is a red '68 daily-driver...and people turn their heads...give you the thumbs up...ask you questions about the car...tell you why they miss the Mustang they used to own long ago, etc...you'll remember why you wanted a Mustang over ANY othe rtype of car! And, when you see people driving in the "new" '05-'07 Mustangs for $25K, you'll wonder why they didn't get a real nice classic for 1/3 the price!
