What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1967 Ford Mustang: 1967 Ford Mustang

I have always loved the 67 Mustang for the side vents. It is the only year that the Mustang was made with the side vents, The fastback makes it even more desireable. Now that the Movie "Gone in 60 Seconds!" came out every one wants an "Eleanor" car. Which was never made by Carrol Shelby in 1967. The car was made just for the movie. Since the hype was so strong for this car Carroll Shelby decided to make some also. He called them GT500E cars. "SUPER SNAKE" sold for 150,000 when it was introduced.

1967 Ford Mustang: My 67 Mustang Experience

My brother Gary bought his 1967 Mustang GT Fastback 31 years ago when he was 16 years old. He still owns it to this day and will never part with it. The first time I drove it, I fell in love with it. Looking out over the hood with it's hood-mounted turn signals is incredible. The back seat folded down, the throaty dual exhaust, the 4-speed shifter in your hand, the torque, the front end of the car slightly lifting as you approach 130 miles an hour.......wow.
We are purists. That is to say, we despise greedy money-hungry butchers who destroy these legendary and beautiful machines to make "Eleanors" out of them. One or two was plenty. Every one after that is just copy-catting for the sake of making money. It also represents a lack of vision. Original 67 Fastbacks are far more awesome than plastic-draped clones.
The 67 GT Fastback Mustang has pure musclecar styling and it's bucket seat interior is unsurpassed in street race design.
Gary's Fastback is an "S" code, which means it came from Detroit with a 390cu.in. V-8, 4-barrel carb, four speed. To sit behind the wheel and feel the nose of that car lifting as each gear is slammed.....I haven't forgotten it in over 30 years. Pulling into the passing lane in fourth gear, down-shifting into third, and hammering the accelerator as it chirps the tires and goes around that slower car, just screaming with horsepower and it's meaner-than-you body style......it sends chills down my neck thinking about those wonderful summer days when I was 17.
Gary's Fastback is going through restoration this year, and you can bet it will be put back together as an original 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback.....not a hollywood insult.
There's a reason you can't buy one cheap anymore.
My brothers and I own: 2007 SHELBY GT500 Mustang, 2006 Mustang GT, 2001 Mustang GT, 1967 Mustang GT Fastback, and a 1966 Mustang GT coupe. The 67 GT Fastback is the most precious.
P.S. The 07 SHELBY will never be customized or modified either!!!!

Pegasus (A.K.A. "Eleanor") is the BADDEST BITCH on 4 wheels. Of course there are a few little "bugs" to be worked out but she is an amazing piece of machinery. Honestly, I couldn't be happier than I am...she's so beautiful and sexy yet tough and muscular (at the same time), its like having my very own mythical creature from the land of the transformers.
Unfortunately, On my first outting in my new car the day before yesterday, I over heated the engine because the fan wasn't engaged, The radiator over-flow canister started erupting radiator fluid like a boiling tea kettle. I am hoping that I didn't cause any real damage to her (ie- the aluminum headers). (SH!T) ... fortunately, however, while I was fumbling around with the radiating geyser, a man walked up and lended a hand, once we had mopped most of the fluid off the paint he introduced himself as the president of the mustang club of tulsa. : ) He then proceeded to invite Pegasus and I to join their club. : ) (I think that says it all)

1967 Ford Mustang: Rebuilding my 67 mustang

Have to start by saying, "I really like vehicles from the 60's"; this is not my first mustang, I have had a variety of mustangs from 1965 - 1998.

This is the first in as bad condition, as I have ever took on to rebuild. Regaining some old skills that my father had taught me. The new leading combination lead and equipment made my transition better than I remember in the late 50s and early 60s. Corrosion control has really excelled in the past several years and that's why I picked the 67 mustang that I am working. The wire welder is great to weld in a new piece in the cut out area, grind it, lead it, treat it and it is better than original, great for a spotweld substitute...no longer use bondo and with the new corrosion treatments, no blistering in a couple a three years and now, no cracking bonding. When I finish I will have a smile from ear to ear as I do on my Tang now...

We liked the car because it was in near perfect shape and it looks great. The engine runs and for an old car it still operates like a gently used car.

1967 Ford Mustangs are a good car for their time and up until recently could not be matched by their successors. The 390ci FE and 428 Cobra Jet engines are among the best Ford has ever made.

I bought a 1967 Mustang on ebay a few months ago from a guy in TX. Pictures were beautiful as was the description of the car.

However, when it arrived, the engine and transmission were so bad we had to push it off the truck and into the shop. The frame rails were so rusted that the car was unsafe to drive. I donated the car to a local vo-tech shop after showing them everything that was wrong with it.

First time I have been burnt on a car purchase in 30 years. I buy two or three cars year, often on ebay. Buyer beware.

I bought this car and the seller didn't say there was anything wrong with it. When I got the car, there was 6,000 more miles on it than the seller said. And the car has some problems with it, it leaks oil and coolant. And the seller never said there was anything wrong with it. And when I contacted the seller about these problems he told me that it was my fault and that I should have checked that out before I bought the car. But I don't understand how I was supposed to check those things out since you have to pay for something before you get it in your possession. So I was not happy about how the seller was acting about the car.

I bought this 67 Mustang knowing it needed finished. The motor does not run strong at all so I am having a 428 Cobra Jet w/ 500-600 HP built for it. The transmission is messed up as well so we are going to pull it out and put in a 4-speed top loader tranny. The bottom needs to be cleaned up and done back to the factory original red oxide primer to look original. Then I will polish all the original trim and put it back on. Once we are done it will be one heck of a Mustang.
