2005 Ford F-350

Oil leaks for 2.5 years dealers just can not fix them.turbo replaced at 10k truck now has 18k.at 16k new injectors oil pumps fuel pumps ect reflash .Truck runs but no power.After 1st reflash( done because 2005 powerstrokes did not meet fed emis stands so they had to be detuned to meet ) milage went from 16.5 to 11mpg hwy 9 cty 7 towing.Some people with these trucks put lock boxs over computer to keep from being reflashed during service.my truck has no mods .If see a truck that has mods it has no warrenty .Most dealers will void on the spot if you have problems and has mods even air cleaners or exuast if you chip it forget.the biggest problems are fixable if you find a good dealer but here in MD tried 5. Most good dealers tell you it will be 2 months to look at truck.(or the dealer tells "you to buy a dodge because he tied of fixing 6.0 diesels") So if your is broke down you take to who ever will try to fix and in most cases they get it going but thats about it. still leaks oil no fuel mileage.. If you get a good one hold one to it because some no have problems.also out watch for buy backs these are trucks that could not be fixed and ford had to buy them back most end up on ebay. always get an oasis report

great truck. Great price. I will buy a new of the same model in a few years.this was a trial to see if I would like this model. I originally wanted a chevrolet or GMC diesel truck, but they were very over priced and hard to find. I have no regrets buying this one.

This vehicle was a great buy. The seller was helpful and easy to deal with. Described flaws of vehicle well. We knew exactly what we were bidding on and the vehicle was better then what we expected. I would recommend them to anyone who was interested in a great value.

At 15k Truck had Turbo replaced, it has had head gaskets replaced three times, Exhaust gas cooler replaced at 85k and replaced again at 120k, Egr valve replace 3 times, now needs injectors am waiting for Ford Factory Rep to OK Repairs, Have lots of money in this truck besides what money Ford has spent. Ford has a fix for head gasket problems. Replace head bolts with studs, but will not do this under waranty. Truck in shop for 7 weeks out of last 8. Bought extended warranty for $2000 for 200k miles. Thank God! Wish Toyota made truck this size.

Awesome vehicles but get 10 mpg city and 12 mpg highway with V10. Lots of options these trucks are loaded.

This is a great vehicle. The leather seats set it apart from other Superduty pickups. Ford has really come a long way with these trucks. I just bought my second Superduty (a 2008 F250) and have similar compliments for Ford.

Very comfortable and very powerful. This is a large truck and takes some room to maneuver. It pulls my 15000lb trailer with ease. It is a Lariat version and has all the extras. The seats are very comfortable, just completed a 1300 mile trip no problems at all. The factory stereo actually sounds really good, which was a surprise as they are usually junk and the first thing I replace. I would definitely recommend this truck if you actually need to pull a big load. I am averaging around 13.5 mpg empty which is o.k. for the size and power of this vehicle.
