2003 Ford F-150

This Flareside Sport Edition has P/W; P/L, a 6 disc c-d changer, tow package and a factory installed power sunroof. It has a retractable bed liner and is a 4.6 V-8 engine. I have wanted a truck for a long time and the F-150 rose to the top quickly. This is a SOLID truck and exemplifies the Ford Tough image. I love the truck and plan on keeping it for a very long time.

I have owned 3 other trucks like this. I love the way these trucks look and drive. This is my first King Ranch though. The interior is awesome. The chaperal leather really gives it an authenic look, and a comfortable ride. The durability of the seats is 10X better than a regular stock leather seat. The interior is easily cleaned with the King Ranch leather conditioner. This truck came with 4 captian chairs instead of the big bench seat in the back. Not sure what to think of that, if you just need to haul 4 people it's great. If you have a family of 5 to tote around I would recommend the standard bench seat. This truck came with a power sunroof. Very nice. The truck comes stock with a 5.4L V8 engine, and 3.73 gear ratios, making the truck run good down the highway, but also having great pulling power.
The truck generally gets around 15 to 18 MPG on the highway. Not the best fuel milage verses it competitors. These trucks come with a very short bed, cool look, but not as much cargo room. The bed does come with a tailgate extender for your convenience. This truck has pedals that move forward and backward for shorter people to reach the pedals with out moving the seat so close to the steering wheel. The truck comes with a thermostat air conditioner, just like your house, if you set it a 70 degrees that's what your interior stays while your vehicle is in use.
I had problems with the cd player. When I got the truck home the cd player didn't work. It comes with a 6 disc in dash cd changer. If you order with cd player from Ford it is around $740. You can buy it from other companies for a fraction of that. The cd player is extremely fragile. I bought one and when it got here it didn't work. The shipping company had handled the package a little rough causing the cd player to break. It says on the cd player if you drop it scrap it. When getting a new stock cd player for these trucks, be extremely careful handling it.
I also had problems with the spare key. It didn't match the vehicle. Any Ford dealership can make you another key. Most remotes are reprogramable throughout various models of these trucks. Example: my remote fit an excursion, but was compatable with the F-150 series. The whole job was around $70-$100.
In closing, this truck is overall a very good truck. It has a nice look and ride down the road, but also has the power to work.

I like everything about the truck. it sold to me as described and the seller was very upfornt about all records of the truck. They also picked me up from the airport that was about an hour away and brought me to the dealer. everything went as planned and i was on my home on less than 2 hours.

Well to start with ,The computer went out at 20,000,Then the brakes at 39,000,The exhaust manifold at 40,000,The rear end is making noises now ,And to top it off the tranny is slipping at 50,000,Not even counting the rust and the tick in the engine ,"since new" It has not been the best truck ,I wish I could afford a new one but I cant right now ,so I will keep putting more money it to this peice of crap !!!

I liked the look of the vehicle and had one before this of the same body stlye that I liked also. I knew it would be a strong, reliable vehicle.

It's a nice truck that drives and runs like new still. I really could not pass up the deal considering what most dealers and private sellers were asking for ame product with more miles, or the needed work.
