What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

This is my second E-350 15 passenger. I'm in a touring band, and we put about 70K miles a year on our vans. The last Ford (a 2001 E-350) now has over 300K miles, and has been retired from long road trips, but still runs great. We did have to replace the transmission at about 250K, but overall; a very solid, dependable vehicle. I've also owned two conversion vans, one Ford E150 and one Dodge Ram 1500. I wish I had good things to say about them; after the first 100K, they seem to be nothing but trouble, and neither one has any power. The Dodge struggles to get up the slightest hill.
The major drawback with the E-350 is an utter lack of comfort. You can order these new from the dealer with a variety of seating options, but the standard seems to be 4 benches behind the front driver/passenger captain's chairs. These benches are very uncomfortable on long trips: no head rests at all, and the top of the back of the bench only comes to below your shoulders if you are tall. Since we typically drive anywhere from 4-24 hours at a time, we take turns trying to sleep on these benches. The bench seats incline slightly down towards the back of the bench, and it is impossible to get comfortable lying down. The front driver's and passenger's "captain's" seats aren't much better. They only have armrests on the side opposite the door, and after a couple of hours in one I start to squirm and feel my back getting tight. I am always more comfortable reclining in one of the captain's seats in the conversion van. I suppose you could have the van equipped with more comfortable seats at your local conversion van company, but you would almost certainly lose some of your seating capacity doing so.
One plus is that the seating is all removable. We remove the two back benches and use that space for cargo.
A couple of other drawbacks are the noise level and the fuel efficiency. They are what they are, I suppose, but vans tend to be a lot more noisy than your typical family car. I have seen one of the 350 vans customized as a "limo van". So for another $20K you can have them stuffed with extra soundproofing, and decked out with comfy seating and a mini-bar.
The fuel-efficiency is abhorrent, about 14 mpg. Again, they are what they are, and I guess you wouldn't expect a vehicle this size to have great gas mileage, but what happened to Ford's announcement a few years ago that by now they would be offering all of their vehicles in a hybrid model? That would be a dream come true for us, and I would be the first person in line to buy one.
Our's have both been gasoline models, but I've heard amazing things about the deisel version of this van. I've been told you can put 500K on a deisel before you have to start to make major repairs.

BUYER BEWARE! Seller plays game, costly hidden problems, cannot pass Inspection.

Re: Ebay member: ilya6629, we bought a car from this Ebay seller few weeks ago, so we keep checking his ebay auction. After do some research on his ebay auction and his previous ebay sale, we found out many of his sale winner or 2nd highest bidders are new ebayer with 0 feedback, and it happened to us also when we bought the car, the under bidder also was a 0 feedback ebayer. So we think he probably has several ebay account and bid on his own auction to raise the auction price and sometime he can leave himself a good feedback also. He just sold a car yesterday on Oct. 29, 2009, item number 180423016575, car Vin #:1FTRE14W46DA02557, and today we found he put this car on his ebay site again for Buy It Now, item number: 180426232648, Vin #:1FTRE14W46DA02557. How many times he can sold a car?
Please do an investigation because this is not right to use his own or his friend’s account to bid on his own auction to raise price. This is not fair to all ebay buyers. Please check on all his bidder’s transaction IP address to find out. Here is this ebay seller’s information,

I love the way it drives and looks. it is extremely comfortable and drives great. the only think I dislike about it, the side doors open out instead if sliding. This makes it hard for passengers to get in and out if the parking spaces are tight. also hard to get in and out of without running boards or step.

It is better on preformance and gas than a Chevy cargo van. It is wider to handle more cargo. One thing I dislike is that the front brakes pads need to be redone often, but over all very happy.

I'm very disappointed that this van get WORSE gas milage than my 14 year old e-150 with 160,000 miles and a larger, more powerful engine. The 2006 rides nicer but when gas is $3 a gallon, 13 mpg vs 11 mpg might be worth a little discomfort. Why oh why did Ford drop the 4.9l in-line 6?
