1993 Ford E-Series Van

This car was terrible. I recommend everyone Not to buy this vehicle it a waste of time and Not even worth looking at.

After accepting my $500 paypal deposit the seller mandated changes to the auction terms via email. Seller changed the Item Location (pick-up/delivery) from Albany, NY to Plattsburg, NY (150+ mile distance change). Sell demanded immediate balance of payment payoff (auction stated ON or before delivery), then seller opened an unpaid item case against me in ebay, and sent me an email that I had 3 days to payoff and pick-up vehicle in Albany, NY (no address was given)Per seller, vehicle is actually located and titiled in Montreal, canada (also not disclosed in auction). Seller claimed in the auction the vehicle had a CLEAN CARFAX, however when I paid $35 to run a carfax for the vehicles VIN, I found there was a 5 year old/overdue repair recall for the speed control. I tried several times to open a dispute resolution through ebay, and ebay motors, online and by telephone, with no response after 8-10 days. Finally I went to paypal and opened a dspute resolution case and have since elevated it to a claim.
I belive that when the selled mandated changes to the accepted auction terms, he voided the existing contract. I no longer trust this seller. I will not re-negotiate, and I expect a full refund. This seller lacks the integrity that I think ebay expects from its sellers and should at least be put on probation or prohibited from selling on ebay.
I have saved all email communications between myself and the seller, which I would be glad to provide any or all to ebay, ebay motors, or Paypal (if only I knew how or where to upload or foward them). Please share this message with the paypal CLAIMS department.

We had been looking for a vehicle like this for a long time. We really like this vehicle, but it had prior frame damage that was not disclosed in the sellers describtion and now we are stuck with an unsafe and undriveable vehicle.

The vehicle and condition was totaly misrepresented. The damage to the body was not fully disclosed niether was the mechanical condition.

i got scammed on buying a vehicle and you people are of no help to get my deposit back. i have traded with e-bay before but won't again.

I needed dependable transportation,found this van, It was 225 miles away, I decided it was worth the trip.
It was a 1993, 16 years old, jumped into it, started it up & drove it home.... no major problems.
I was very skeptical about buying a car on EBay, 225 miles away, but It was worth it, thanks to a helpful seller, a good friend who drove me there & Ford Dependability.

i like the van because i bought it cheap enough so i could resell it. the van has nothing wrong with it and runs really good so the reason i bought it was when i brougt it home i sold and made a 1000 dollar profit

i bought the van because it was handicap set up already. it was described in excelent interior condition, witch it wasnt. also it was described that the handicap features were in good condition. when it was deliverd the passenger side running board was falling off, i tryed to open the side door and lower the lift, it jerks and is not a steady opening of doors or lift. also putting back up the lift gets stuck doesnt go in all the way so you need to have some one flip up a panel so it will close for you. i found out now it needs a new lift this one is just wore out needs other things replaced or fixed and adjusted also. it does seam to run good but cost more to replace the handicap things then the van is worth. i tryed to e mail and call seller out of 4 e mails and 3 phone calls i finaly got to talk to him about it he just said if it was by him and not 600 miles away he would check it out. that doesnt do me much good huh? so i wish i didnt buy it now. i think from now on if i buy some thing ill do it close to me so i can go try it before i buy it. im learning that buying things on here is a good way of getting ripped off.

THE TRUCK WAS PRETTY MUCH AS DISCRIBED IN EBAY AD, BUT THE TRANSMISSION SLIPS AND THE SELLER DID NOT HAVE THE TRUCK READY WHEN I GOT THERE, I HAD TO WAIT HOURS BEFOR THEY UNLOADED JUNK FROM THE BOX TRUCK, PLUS THE FACT THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE A TITLE THERE WHEN I WAS THERE, SO I HAD TO WAIT 3 WEEKS BEFOR THE TITLE ARRIVED, AND THE MUFFLER SYSTEM HAD BIG HOLES IN IT AND IT SOUNDED LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN, THEY PUT AN ILLEGAL LISCENCE PLATE ON IT AND SENT ME OFF, SO IF I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN STOPPED BY THE POLICE THE TRUCK WOULD HAVE BEEN TOWED AWAY AND I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BUYER BEWARE...THESE PEOPLE ARE POSING AS AUTO SALES DEALERS AND THEY ARE ONLY JUNK DEALERS OUT FOR THE TAKE.......
