This is a great way to eat up spare time and spare money, too. There are so many aftermarket parts, you can even build one from parts, if you want! You can start off cheap (about $3000) and work your way to a $15000 off road vehicle that is showroom new!!
I restored a 67 mustang ragtop, and I like this much better!! Give it a try - pick up a project bronco for about $3000 and slowly restore it - it really isn't that hard. They are relatively simple vehicles.
