What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Most Aspires from 1994 to 1997 operate the same, and hopefully, I will always own at least one, and be able to pass one off to my son when he is old enough to drive.

I currently own a 1995 Aspire (5-speed) that I just bought a tranny on Ebay to repair with, a 1997 Aspire (Automatic) that I have driven for 2 years, but now have to lay to rest and use for parts because I hit 2 large black cows at 60mph at night on a dark highway on the way to work 8-21-08 @ 2140 hrs (I also hit and killed a deer doe with it a year and a half ago), and now this 1996 Aspire (Automatic) that my wife and I drove back to Kansas from Florida (1549 miles) without any trouble at all.

Without the dual airbags, the lightweight design of the Aspire, and GOD watching over and protecting me, I would be a dead man right now. I recommend the Aspire to anyone who wants a fair chance to live when impacting objects in the road that should not be there. My goal is to have one of every year of Aspire, because they are designed for safety. I am living proof of that.

If you are concerned about safety and fuel mileage, and not too concerned about looking "cool" or "sporty", then the Aspire may just be the right car for you. I am now looking for a 1994 and another 1997 to replace my wrecked baby that I bought from the late Duane Sharp in Salina Ks, May God bless his soul, as if he had not sold me that car, I may not be here today. Thank You Duane!

In my opinion, if you have a chance to buy one of these cars and pass it up, you are a total fool. Although the KBB values show they are worth very little, their TRUE value in fuel economy and safety outnumbers the KBB value by many dollars!

As soon as I get my just due compensation from the owner of those road roaming cows, I am going to buy another 1997 Aspire to replace my wrecked one, even if I have to fly to California and drive it back. If anyone wants to see pictures from the accident, email me at: michaelhunt67455@sbcglobal.net

Have a safe trip everywhere you go, and remember to BUCKLE UP for safety like I did, and got a second chance to continue to do! SEAT BELTS DO SAVE LIVES! AMEN!
