What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The 2007 Ram 4x4 2500 SLT Heavy Duty equipped with the 5.9 Cummins Diesel Quad Cab is a dream to own. Mine was equipped with the jamming Sirius Radio that included a year subscription(the Sirius Radio aka Thunder Road edition came with lots of free extras). The ride is a little harsh when empty or not towing, but when loaded, it rides sooo smooth (typical of 4x4s). The bigger the load, the quicker the turbo spooling. Power heated fold away mirrors work quickly. 4 wheel disc brakes stops fast. Big work console on the 40/20/40. Great incentives from Dodge. I love the seats and the room.

This is the last year of the 2003-2007 body style so lots of inexpensive aftermarket items are available.

Best mileage is under 2000 rpm. There are some add-ons that you can perform to increase your mileage. My recommendations: Install a cold air intake with free flowing filter, swap the restrictive muffler, install a bed cover, install a programmer, swap all fluids to full synthetic (engine, transmission, rear end, transfer case), install a Fitch Fuel Catalyst. The Fitch is a once in a lifetime fuel filter that holds a catalyist that will realign the molecules to burn better.

I get 24ish MPG Highway and 19ish MPG City depending how heavy the foot and how bad the stop-n-go – this is an average for me! These modifications will pay for themselves after 81k miles and start putting cash in your pocket! 100,000 Mile Engine Warranty. It has around 310 HP and 625 LBS. of Torque.

Some Cons for my buy: Blind spot at windshield pillars (especially with rain guards), some unusual rusting at tow hook bolts (and underneath). The new for late 2007 and 2008 6.7 Cummins comes equipped with an exhaust brake. The mega-cab has an adjustable rear seat.

2007 Dodge Ram 2500: Just perfect

The truck is doing great, I am very pleased with the purchase. It was what I was looking for. The color is nice and being a diesel was a must. I like the automatic which is a change from the standard. The two door is hard to find and I was excited that this was a two door. It has several extra's that I would not of thought to purchase. It was in as good a shape as a new one. I felt so fortunate to find this truck and to be able to communicate with the seller for the shipping home was wonderful. I think a truck like this and the price was just a miracle to find.

Awesome truck. Fuel economy not as great as everyone told me. I've heard of people getting 20-24mpg. I'm only getting about 16mpg with no load, going about 65 on the highway. Otherwise I love it. Very fast! Nice quality.

As Far as I am concerned, this truck is hard to beat. I looked at Ford and Dodge and out of
the 2 I liked the Cummins for the name that is has earned over the years. Now what I like about
the truck according to what I have seen since I have owned it.
The performance it great, and gets even better when you add some tuning to it, via chip or programmer
With the add ons the MPG gets better as well as the already great performance.
The Reliability of the Cummins motor is hard to beat, there are plenty of them
out there with 300,000 miles and still running. As for the comfort side of this goes it rides
better then alot of trucks out there, and that is pretty good considering mine is lift and still is a joy to drive.
I did have to replace some u joints after only 45,000 miles as did alot of people according to the
forums that I subscribe to. This is due to them getting kind of cheap and not putting in a u-joint that you could grease, which falls under the warrenty, however I live
2 hours from a Dodge dealer and it is not as if I can just drop it off during my lunch hour
like they expect me to. So I replaced them my self with some that are greasable. Other then
the U-joint issue I have nothing bad to say about this truck at all. I am gald that I bought
this truck and I enjoy and hope to continue to enjoy driving it, both empty and loaded.
