1999 Dodge Durango

I bought it because it was a great deal and from the South. I am mainly a Jeep guy, but wanted a 7 passenger that wasn't a mini van and had 4x4!

i really liked this vehicale and won it with a second chance i tried to get a hold of the seller and finally he got back to me after 4 days and said he was out of town but then i found out why he was stalling he put the item on creigs list and must of got more money because i never heared from him again and missed alot of good opportonitys hes dont belong on ebay.

I had driven a Dodge Durango that a friend had- and I fell in love with how it handles corners, the comfort, and the look. After 7 years of saving, I finally purchased a durango off of ebay and I love it! I believe that alot of people write and rate vehicles online when they are upset and that doesnt give a very clear description of the make of the vehicle. My durango runs very smoothly and is perfect for my large family. I mainly was looking for a vehicle (other than a van) that could haul us to family events and such. I have 4 little ones and there is plenty of room for all of us with the space in between so the kids dont squabble as much. :0) I get around 15 mpg on highway and around 10 in town. It does suck the gas, but Im a stay at home mom and only really go out maybe 2-3 times a week, so gas isnt a huge deal for me. I have heard of alot of problems with this vehicle, but again you hear more negatives because people are upset. This vehicle is very comfortable and sound to drive. I was in an accident with a Ford Explorer and was VERY leary about ever driving a SUV again- this is not at all as tippy/top heavy as driving other SUV's. I would definately recommend this vehicle- but only if you would be driving it occasionally, otherwise the gas will eat you alive @ $4 a gallon this coming summer.

I like the truck so much I also have a 2006 for my family of five with three car seats. It can fit up to 7 people comfortably

First and foremost, the mileage was grossly under stated. The Ebay description stated it had 62,000 miles but the title stated over 103,000. The owner stated the vehicle had a lot new or replaced items. So far I have had to replace the brakes, they would not past Penn. Inspection and an air conditioner pump. The owner only responded to emails and would not return our repeated phone calls. What the owner did, amounts to fraud. This will the LAST TIME I purchase a vehicle from Ebay. What a nightmare!!!!!!

We have owned our Durango for around five years and put 40k on it and are closing on 100k. The SUV has been bullet proof and seems to need nothing but regular maintenance. The four wheel drive is outstanding on ice and snow with a very stable/safe feel especially for an SUV. I own or have owned several other SUV's and the Durango is by far the most stable. The 360 cid engine has enough power to tow anything within its rated range. The only down side is it's a beast on fuel with a highway fuel consumption of around 14mpg which, for its size, seems a bit extreme. A V6 or smaller V8 might be a better choice

I love the Dodge Durango because it is a very comfortable vehicle and drives very smoothly. Being a v8 it has a lot of power which is nice and the third seat comes in handy when carrying around a lot of people. The only thing I don't like about it is the gas mileage is only about 13-15 miles to the gallon which in these days is not economical. I bought it because we needed something bigger for our growing family.

Great vehicle at a great price. I drove it to Atlanta Ga from Providance RI and have been driving it every since. Give up a little gas milage for proven power, I tow vehicles with it. I also tow my Boat. No problem it pulls great.
