2006 Dodge Charger

It was 900+ miles away from me but only 10 miles away from my son and his family, GOOD reason #1. SELLER'S PHONE NUMBER had the year of my birth as the last four digits,GOOD reason #2. It was a 38,000.00 car, just at a year old ( made in Canada in Nov. 05 ), for 18,000 when I entered my bid, GOOD reason #3. The Photos of the car showed a car that was in SHOW ROOM condition AND the TITLE search revealed all mechanical/body damage and the steps taken to bring the car from a junk title to a Florida REBUILT title.
The car had been stolen, then in a HIGH SPEED chase, then right side of vehicle was submerged in a roadside ditch, which ended the pursuit and recovered the car.
The TEXAS insurance company wrote the vehicle off as JUNK!
The Seller met me in Atlanta with the car and the drive back to Florida was like a dream come true.
I was reliving the purchase of my BRAND NEW 1969 Charger, purchased in Phoenix, Arizona, during my first year in the US Air Force. The NEW CHARGER was living up to the 1969 standards of quickness and handling. The car has no warranty from the Manufacturer due to the insurance company totalling the car. But a new door and $1800 of paint and sweat has the right side back to factory appearance.
I've owned a 1963 Plymouth Belvedere station wagon, a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible, a 1969 Dodge Charger, a 1970 Dodge Challenger, all purchased brand new - and all with a warranty that was NEVER USED because the vehicles where made that well, GOOD reason #4.
I purchased another car that same week for my wife, a 2004 New Beetle conv., that I found on eBay - it was local so the deal had a little more hands-on feeling to it, being able to drive the car before purchase.
Comparing the two purchases and ease of completing the transactions, I would say that shopping eBay for a car is really a great experience. HSBC is available for financing, and the INSPECTION CERTIFICATE offered by eBay Motors assures the buyer that no junk is sold to unsuspecting customers.

The Charger Daytona is far better than the base Charger and even the R/T. The interior seating is extremely nice and comfortable. The dash is laid out nicely and all controls are easy to reach. The Hemi has plenty of power and you will find yourself way over the speed limit in no time. Would I buy another, without a doubt. If you do have the extra cash and don't mind buying premium fuel, see if the Charger SRT model can fit in your budget. With 75 more HP and any upgrade handling package, it will sure please.
