There is a lot to love about this car. I mean it has a very new and good looking paint job. It starts up and runs just fine. Also once it's been started once it pretty much starts up on the first rollover. The front seat is going to need to be redone because it's ripped up. Also the carpet is quite dirty so I'm probably going to get a new one. I decided to buy this car because it was very appealing to the eye. I also like chargers and older vehicles in general so I thought it would be a great opportunity.

1973 Dodge Charger: Pirate!

06/06/08
• Overall Satisfaction:
PIRATE! The deal did not take place because the seller suddenly closed his account and disappeared! I had a man in his area a week later for picking up the car and he said that the car was not as described on EBAY and that was possibly the reason why he wouldnt sell to me as he should according to the EBAY rules!
I bought a new car on EBAY in California from "Mustan Beginnings" and i hope it will be shipped sometime next week. I have paid through my bank!
Best regards Allan.

1973 Dodge Charger: Best car ever made? 1973-74 Dodge Charger

11/06/07(updated 11/09/08)
• Overall Satisfaction:
These are true drivers cars, they don't drive for you, And that I love.
My love afair with this car started Jan6,1975 at Northside Dodge in Atlanta GA. I was looking for a 75, but there it sat. A plain jane black on white left over 74. 318,auto a/c and road wheels. The only thing I had the dealer do was swap the bench seat for buckets. First thing everyone wanted to race me because of the looks of the car [100mph sitting still].
The car has been kept clean top and bottom, maintaned right and always garaged at night. Carpet replaced three times, seats done one time engine trans and rear end rebiult one time. And never repainted or had to have the a/c recharged! The car now has 978,000 miles on it. The only problem I have ever had,
was front frame buchings other than that its never even had a tie rod end replaced. Anytime it didn't seem to drive right I replaced those bushings. And this time I used polyurathain bushings and the car drives better than new. Update the car has turned over 1,000,000 miles now and I decidede to restore the suspenion and power train. Alond with new weather stripping and door hinges. Other than tat nothing else will be touched.

1973 Dodge Charger: Purchase of 1973 Dodge charger

07/06/07(updated 07/06/07)
• Overall Satisfaction:
I really do like this vehicle. It was as perfect or better than seller advertised. I purchased this car because I bought one exactly like this one in 1973 when I got out of high school. This car is an exact twin to the one I use to own. I sold mine 19 years ago and always wish I still had it. This car is original with NO rust. This car was a 25th wedding anniversary present. Even though we will not celebrate till September of 2008. I wish anyone who buys a car on e-bay has this kind of success with such a perfect vehicle. This person I bought the car from was a really nice guy and very easy to work with. He also made sure shipping was done correct on his end. Car was shipped through united road and I would highly recomend them also. Dave

1973 Dodge Charger: 1973 Dodge Charger SE LTD Brome

03/16/07
• Overall Satisfaction:
My story is of rather fond memories. The car was a 1973 SE LTD series Dodge Charger. The time was aprox. 1986. I bought the car because of the way it looked in a profiled position as well as the fact it was powered by a big block 440. I found it of all places in a junk yard pushed aside with most of the trim and wheels missing. They wernt hard to find then so most of what I needed to put it on the street was there in the yard or near by. Once together the trip home was all it took to become very atatched to this car. The ride was great / power of coarse was unreal / you could tell rite away that this is a well built automobile. Through time and a lot of TLC the charger became meaner and more fun to drive as well as drew a large amount of attention {Most good but some not so good}. The only real problem I found with this body style was as well one of the key things that drew me to the car to start with. (The cocacola bottle body design) Yes you read that wright, look at the body of the car. It looks like a coke bottle with wheels. Allthough this makes for a hotrod looking design the big backend and long narrow fenders made the car slide easaly on slick roads. But in defence of this design it also caused the car to hold the road tight at high speeds on straight roads like interstates. Not to mislead you about the terain this car could handle, I drove this car for a good while and over many difrent terains. It handeld great ,you just had to learn to compensate for its slideing potential on slick roads. (In otherwords learn to drive it) All in all. The question you most likely want answered is if given the opertunity now to own this type car would I want it??? The answer is "You better belive I would , That is one ride I will never forget". The other question on your mind. If I liked it so well then why did i let it go. Simple answer "I was 20 somthing years old then and rather wild With very little sence. So it came down to a choice of my car or my freedom..." Which would you choose???

1973 Dodge Charger: 1973 Dodge Charger

02/05/07
• Overall Satisfaction:
I have owned and daily-driven a '73 for over 6 years as I have restored & upgraded it to suit me,with options it didn't originally come with.I was attracted to this one 'cause it was cheap and it ran & drove 100 miles home ok!It was all original, just tired! As the last of the successful mopar NASCAR speedway body styles it has a competition heritage and also room and practicality (Unlike my '74 Corvette!).Compared to newer cars it is simple to work on.As time passes and my up-grades accumulate,it even increases in value. Many people smile & wave and some offer to buy it!
