What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Bought because I wnted a convertible. The price was right even with having to fly to Bradenton,FL to pick it up which was cheaper than having shipped and then driving 500+ miles to Sumter. Averaged 26 mpg driving at 5mph over speed limit ac on. In Sumter I could not get it to start, had to have it towed by my regular maintainer- found a loose starter wire-thank GOD that it come loose on way home! Nothing to dilike about it.Shiny lt.blue with blue top Limited Edition. If needed anoyher car I would not hesitate in doing business with Greer Motors again and salesperson Josh Batey.

I like the style and the looks of the convertable. I dislike the overall condition of the car. We took the shuddle to Phoenix to pick up the car but was very disappointed as the car was advertised in exellent condition and was a far cry from that. We were stuck without transportation back to Tucson so inspite of the condition of the car we closed the deal.

I like the vehicle because it is a convertible but also a mid sized car for safety. I did not like the fact that it was advertised as having 4 new michelin tires and turned out to have three different brand tires all of which were worn out and needed replacing, cost me another $800.00. not good.
I bought this vehicle because it was a florida car, reasonably low mileage and appeared to be in pretty nice shape.unfortunately, pictures don't let you see the details needed to really look close at a vehicle, thus you are relying on the honesty of the person selling it. I have learned over the years that the more money that could be made tends to dilute the stregth of the honesty and integrity that flows through peoples veins. I guess it is just human nature to avoid the truth in leu of cash.I don't think I will be buying a car from ebay any time soon. Let me just be clear that ebay is a fantastic tool for finding and purchasing things that are otherwise difficult to find and they are great to deal with, it's the sellers that aren't.

2002 Chrysler Sebring: Why not to buy without looking at what you are buying

I purchased a 2002 convertible Chrysler Sebring supposedly in good shape. I bought it because I thought I was getting a good deal. When it arrived I was not there to receive it, my son received it. When I got home from vacation, I was very dissatisfied. The convertible top needs to be replaced, one of the four tires that were suppose to be in good shape was flat another one was missing a wheel cover. The paint job has several dings and many scratches. The rear bumper has been hit and needs to be repaired or replaced. The drivers side sunvisor is broken and moves around when driving. The check engine light is on and the engine has a real bad miss. Do I need to say more?
The only good experience about this purchase was the way the car was delivered on time and for the price that was quoted.
I am so dissatisfied with this purchase that I will never buy off of ebay again. Both of my big purchases over $3500 have been negative. Thomas Moore

At first I had was not too sure about the Sebring, but after buying one for my wife, I was won over by the nice ride and responsive feel. We changed the oil every 3,000 miles and in return it ran great! Aside from having to replace the break pads, buy new tires and change the transmission fluid, the car ran trouble free after over 95,000 miles. My Toyota needed more service than that! it is a Fine American car and great fun to drive!

I purchased a 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX 4-Door Sedan back in September of 2007. It has a Steel Blue color exterior and a Beige/Taupe color interior. This particular Sebring is powered by the Sequential Multi-Port Fuel Injected 2.4L DOHC 16-Valve 4-Cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower and 165 ft. lbs. of torque. The engine is backed by a 4-Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive known as the A-604/41TE. The exterior styling of this automobile is one of the nicest I have seen, the interior styling is also very nice, there is wood grain trim accents on the dashboard that really make the vehicle look like a vehicle that I shouldn't be able to afford, lol :) all the controls are laid out very nicely, all within an arms reach. This vehicle has a lot of a trunk space and also has rear seats that fold flat when just the trunk isn't enough room. This Sebring is equipped with: Keyless Entry, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Moonroof, AM/FM Stereo with Single Slot CD and Premium Sound with factory amplifier located under passenger front seat, Automatic Headlamp Delay, Tilt Wheel, A/C, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, and many other wonderful options. For around town driving as well as highway driving, the 4-cylinder provides enough power to get around town and enough power to merge onto the expressway without fearing for your life while providing good fuel economy, but sometimes the 4-cylinder seems overworked while climbing the hills of the Pocono Mountains here in PA. Turn the A/C on and just like other 4-cylinders you'll feel a substantial power loss, but keep in mind that this is a very heavy car also. This slushbox of an Automatic Transmission provides smooth and precise upshifts and downshifts 99% of the time, though there are times when it seems like it takes a little while to upshift when climbing a hill under load and there are times where it seems like it performs a 3-2 downshift too early. The reason I refer to this transmission as a "slushbox" is becuase if any of you are familiar with the early 90's Chrysler products, (i.e. 89-93 New Yorker, 89-06 Caravan/Town & Country) or just about any other 89-06 front-drive product you know that these transmissions had an absolute horrible reliability rating and terrible reputation for failing very early in their life. I will be honest with you though, Since around the 2001 model year when these transmissions went to using the D-Ring plates, they have been lasting quite a while on their orginal internals, (i.e. I seen a 2001 Sebring make all the way to 150K before needing an overhaul, I've heard of stratus's making it to the 200K mark before needing an overhaul) not bad considering that the early transmissions would fail at 20K! yes, that's right 20K! Also take note that the average life of an Automatic Transmission is 100K. The most important thing to remember about these transmissions is that you use the correct fluid, make sure you use Mopar ATF+4 Automatic Transmission fluid or it's equivelant brand, such as Valvoline or Castrol ATF+4 and remember to change the fluid and filter every 15K to 20K miles. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE DEXRON/MERCON TRANSMISSION FLUID IN THESE TRANSMISSIONS it will start attacking the clutch plate material insie the trans and then you too will need an overhaul. You see, ATF+4 is a FULL SYNTHETIC fluid, Dexron/Mercon is a NON SYNTHETIC fluid, the two don't mix! I hope you've enjoyed this review, if you have any questions please contact me. Thank you

I love my 2002 sebring LX ,I am a very carefull driver and never exceed the speed limit around town stop and go or expressways and I get realy good millage and great preformance on the freeways with about 24 to 26 mpg using the cruze control. It has never failed me in anyway.
It is extreemly comfortable front and back. Puting the top down is a major attitude adjustment after a stressfull day at work.
When Im next to weather its a porche or a jag or a bmw I am in a class all my own. The beautifull class with class. I use mid grade cheveron faithfully and had breaks done at 40,000 So buy one and be happy too!!
