What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I bought my 2005 Crossfire ltd roadster last year, and i love it.Being a half Mercedes half Chrysler car makes it all the more special. Its kind of like having an auto show concept car,the plush interior with heated seats, the awesome exterior lines, with the retractable spoiler give it a truly unique profile. The body is mounted on a mercedes benz platform, the engine, frame, suspension and the rest of the guts are from the mb sl line. the 3.2l v6 in my ltd. roadster has plenty of power for anyone, you will be beating most mustangs and cameros or firebirds.if you want more power you can go with the srt-6 model,it has 330 supercharged horses and combined with the ultralightweight design, you will be giving vettes a run for their money!you get a lot of bang for the buck with the crossfire!!!

Find a Chrysler dealer or look on e-bay for a Crossfire. More cars were produced than dealers could sell at list price. There are now Crossfires at dealers with at least a $10,000 discount. This is a Mercedes SLK that you can buy at about half price. I have an '06 Roadster that is sweet. I just purchased a new Coupe SRT-6. The roadster is powerfull, the SRT-6 is awesome. An auto magazine said " Vette owners hate the SRT-6 even though all they have ever are the tailights pulling away!" It's true. I never expected to own a Chrysler product, but these are really a Mercedes at reduced Chrylser prices. If you are a "car guy" and like raw power...find an SRT-6 NOW.

2005 Chrysler Crossfire: mERCEDES IN CHRYSLER CLOTHING

This auto is, as no secret, fundamentally a Mercedes SLK auto...the engines even look exactly alike, and the chasis and drive train, etc. are exactly the same...the car was manufactured in Germany...I have owned 2
S Type models before. This little car is classy, runs well, quick, corners nicely and turns heads...I am 6'3'' so it is a little tight for me, but is not a long haul auto either...I recommend this car over any $40K 2 seater, and to buy a low mileage used Mercedes in Chrysler clothing for under $20K is a sweet deal...HAVE FUN

2005 Chrysler Crossfire: A blast and a half!

I bought my 2005 Crossfire Roadster on ebay. U-Ship completely screwed up delivery so I flew to Texas with the tags and drove it back to Maine (1900 miles) in a weekend. What I thought was going to be a miserable and uncomfortable trip turned out to be delightful. Once you're in it, you don't want to get out. I drove nine hours per day stopping only for gas... which was infrequent as the crossfire got 28.8 MPG on the highway. I love this car in every respect from the aggressive retro-inspired styling to the pure germanic Mercedes build quality. The Chrysler Crossfire may be the very best fun/style/reliability/quality per dollar ratio out there. Stop reading the reviews and go bid on one.

I was going to buy a 350Z after I drove the automatic. The shifts were so abrupt. Then by chance I drove a stick and fell in love with the vehicle. Everything you ever want in a sports car for half the price!

2005 Chrysler Crossfire: Love at cross country

I met my Crossfire on a Saturday in Phoenix Arizona. A gift from my husband. My first convertible ever and first sports car after years of mini vans and SUVs. It is white with a black top and two tone interior - very classy. He had me worried about the handling "It's a sports car and handles like one." Me - "Isn't that the point?" I then preceded to drive to Atlanta. It took only two and a half days. I loved every minute. I drove from Phoenix, basking in the sun with my cap and sunglasses on, up to Flagstaff. It was so much fun that even at a really cool 60 degrees and shivering I didn't put the top up till Albuquerque. Road noise wasn't bad and I caught up conversationally with my college age daughter who I had commandered as shotgun for the trip - with the top down! She's a techy and had the NAV system working in no time. The clock and trip controls are intuitive. The dash is easy to read. I calculated I was getting 26 mpg. The acceleration is amazing, the ride is not luxury coach smooth but totally acceptable. You're so low there's no wind buffet from passing semis. Sunday was rainy. It handled great on wet highway like it was gripping the road. I didn't feel confined with the roof up at all. Blind spots aren't bad - but then I've been driving mini vans. It made driving across Oklahoma tolerable. Monday was beautiful and we did Tennesse, Mississippi and Alabama top down and the smell of honeysuckle so thick you wanted to cut it with a knife. The sky turned dark and the 30 second roof adjustment just prior to Birmingham saved us from a deluge. Again this car exceeded expectations in EXTREMELY heavy rain. We had rainbows into Atlanta. There is VERY little storage space which I'm convincing myself is a good thing. The cup holder is "user while driving" unfriendly but you are supposed to be DRIVING! My lower body muscles are going to look even better after a summer in this car. Getting in and out is great for the thighs and glutes - I'm putting that in the plus column too. I LOVE THIS CAR. What a great husband.

2005 Chrysler Crossfire: 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT

I bought this car because I have been following the limited proudction SRT/6 cars for a while now. I bought a 2005 coupe (1 of 2016 ) new and have been amazed with the quality and performance of the car. When I found this even more rare roadster (1 of 928 ever built) I felt it would be a good investment.
The car was as advertised (many good quality pictures from all angles)and I had no big issues when the car arrived. I did find evidence of a repair on the passengers side rear panel. I did not see it during the initial visual inspection. It showed up when I was detailing the car. Local repair shop said no collision involved, looks like something had fallen on the car to them. Can be brought to as new for $400 to $500 dollars.
Mechanically the car was in good shape except the intercooler pump was not working ( a typical failure affecting 50% of SRT'S in the first 20k)which affects the preformance. Unless you were familiar with the SRT you would think the car was running correctly( actually at about 50% preformance level). The pump was an easy fix at about $350 installed.
As this was my first purchase of a car from eBay I had some reservations. However my experience was very positive, the seller was great to work with and I would rate the transaction a 98%. Thanks Jim Robertson
