1985 Chevrolet El Camino

this turned out to be a pjossible scame as the seller wanted to meet me in a unknow location as she wanted cash it did not seem realistec the whol prosess smeled like form the begining if you want mor information my email is naaswl@centurylink.net

First of all, it was the worst experience I ever had on E-bay. There was a $500 non refundable deposit. We drove over 900 miles to get the vehicle, the car was not in the persons name, they said they owned it, Right...... We could not get a carfax on it. DMV said they could not get any information on the car. The car was not as it was stated on e-bay. We we told them we were not going to buy the car because of the title not in their name, no carfax history, DMV could not help us out and the car was not what it was suppose to be. They told me to kiss my $500 deposit goodbye. They listed the car four times, supposedly it is alwys someone elses fault the car doesn't sell. I would never recommend doing business with them and E-bay said they can't help me get my money back, so we got ripped off all the way around. I pray what comes around goes around and they get theirs some day. Then they had the nerve to give me a positive review with poort comments. E-bay deleted their comment because I proved they were in error. I call this a lesson learned at a high price. Be careful when buying anything on ebay or anywhere. Seems like there are a lot more scammers out there today. Sad how people are in the world, what ever happened to honesty, integrity and do unto others as you would have done to you..

Fair to good condition I own two ElCamino's.& am very pleased with the look & ride. One has bucket seats, & the other has a bench seat.

There are a couple things where it was fixed before that I think they could have done better. The studs on which you mount the moulding clips are gone from between the passenger door and the rear wheel well, but the repair that was made is excellent and this is an easy fix. Overall this vehicle is exactly what I expected because the seller was extremely forthright in explaining everything he knew about the car before and during the purchase process. In fact, so far the car has been better than I expected. I use it for errands and some commuting use in a mix of city and highway traffic. For a 24 year old vehicle it's in great shape. Once it's painted, has the seat re-covered, and the dashboard re-covedred it'll be nearly perfect.
