Love the car it looks and drives great, got a real good deal on it, had only 2,500 miles on it, great price about $6,000.00 under low blue book.
Disappointment's
While driving car home from seller, I heard a clunking noise when going slow on un even road, went to my local dealer for warranty repair, found out it had several repairs done on it before I made purchase; a clutch, and body damage that had been repaired & repainted. Repairs needed just after my purchase;
tie rod end's, sway bars and CV boot.
The GM dealer told me the car came from a racing school in Phoenix.
Needless to say I was not happy that the seller did not disclose this information, especially since I asked them if there was any thing I needed to know about the car before I sign the papers. I think diclosing that a car coming from a racing school is an important factor when purchasing a vehicle. When I confronted seller, he claimed he was not aware the car came from a racing school. Kinda hard to belive this. Lucky for me the GM dealer will warranty repairs - 36,000/2010. Tried to get compensation from seller at least $2,700.00 extended warranty he sold me, he said no way.
I am considering consulting a Lawyer regarding this matter. At this time I am not sure what to do, being that my local dealer said because it came from a racing school, even though it only had 2500mi, they were hard miles and I face the possiblity of on going repairs. Also, I worry about the safety issues of driving the vehilce.
