2002 Chevrolet Corvette

The 02 Corvette I recently purchased exceeded my expectations. I bought the car for pleasure trips. I was extremely impressed with the seller Carpoint-DFW.I would purchase another vehicle from them any time.

Awesome Vehicle. Awesome seller Bob Wicker of Wicker Auto Sales in Mason Michigan is one of the Nicest, Most Honest, sellers on eBay. I had several Corvettes in the mid to late seventies, but this car is an amazing refinement of those. Performace for this base level C5 is Great. I can hardly imagine how the upper level performance models must run. It is loaded with options (more that my ex-wifes Cadilac) & is an extremely comfortable vehicle. The only option I wish it had, would be a power convertible top. I don't know if that was available in '02. However, the top can be dropped or raised, by one person, in a minute or less. It is much easier to get in & out of than the late 70's vettes I owned, and that, even considering I'm now 30 years older...lol
Considering the performance level, the Gas milage is amazing. (around 24+ city, on real gas & around 20 on ethenol) No one buys a 'vette for MPG, but, it's a very welcome suprise benefit. Kinda makes me mad, because, if they can make this car run like this with this kind of mpg, they can make all their other lesser performance line of cars get MUCH better milage. This rivals my girlfriends Honda Accord in MPG. I also own a V-6 Explorer Sport-Trac which weighs near the same as this Corvette & get something like 60% of the MPG @ about 20% of the performance. This is one eye-catching vehicle & get tons of comments. I DO Love this 'Vette!! Get one & you will too!!

As far as the ratings listed above, all is great.My only concern is the extreme road noise ,tire noise, whatever you wish to label it.This applies with the top up or down.I purchased a trunk divider that seperates the passenger compartment and the trunk. This did help a lot but there is still a lot of room for improvement.That being said, that's a small price to pay for such a great car.I would buy this car again in a heartbeat.This is my fourth vet, from c2s thru c5's,this is the best so far.I highly recommend it.

Well 1st of all i fell in love in the color, Its an EYE CATCHER & i get lots of complements From Everyone!
You Feel like a king on the road, But i did not like the handeling on the car It slides from side to side.
And for a coup it has more options then other exotic cars.

This is a great vehicle, considering it has an 8 cylinder this car gives me great gas mileage and preformance. Would love to get a new one but can't part with this one.

I pick the corvette up and was not able to get the Title.I was not knowlegeable of how long it takes to get a title. Curtis at Imagine Automotive Group is a fine person to deal with.

Terrific car, all aspects excellent, Gas milage is terrific (26-30 mpg) fun to drive, as far as I'm concerned theres none finer.

Overall the appearance of the car is awesome.

The Z06 package just flat out rocks! Handling is top notch. Car can also get good gas mileage (but who drives a vette for mpg!) I can get 30+ on the highway if I set the cruise and drive tame. I actually have averaged 25.5 mpg for a 1000 mile trip.

The only downfall of the vette is the interior. The seats are comfortable, but the cheap center console and radio trim is annoying. For a 53K car, they could have spent another $500 and made the interior fit together and appeal much more. I must also say the 05 and newer vettes look to have more decent interior trim.

I still give the car 9.5 out of 10! Sweet ride.
