1995 Chevrolet Corvette

I have been very impressed with the performance of this car. It is a nice ride, quick, surprising handling, and actually comfortable enough for trip duty. This is a great way to get into a Corvette without the expense of new (Although New ones look great!)

This car is "LIKE NEW"..could not be better. If anything the seller understated the condition of this beautiful well cared for automobile!!

I purchased this car site unseen with the belief the seller was being honest about the cars condition.He stated a few problems with the interior,which were easily repaired.He did not mention the dash was warped and the dash pad was gouged throughout the entire surface.The vent grille is also broken.The power locks do not work,the center console lid latch is broken.The dash frame itself is bent so the lower panels do not fit.
The water pump was leaking so bad I had to leave the car on the side of the road and go for anti freeze just to get the car home.He stated the power steering was tight,it doesn't work at all.He rated the exterior as excellant except a rub mark on the frt,but there are rock chips on every edge.This car is nothing like he described,and I am very un-happy about this purchase

This corvette was my first purchase of a car on Ebay. I had to drive 14 hours to get it when I won the auction. The whole way I was excited and scared at the same time. I hoped it would not be a scam or find something seriously wrong that I had overlooked. I checked out the car on Carfax. It had nothing bad. When I arrived, I almost cried. The car was not only as good as it looked, but better.

On the drive home, I started thinking about my next car purchase online. To date, I have bid on several cars and will buy another one soon.

Around 1968 I started 'playing' with Chevys with my buddy and his uncle and soon came to realize that the ultimate Chevy would end up being a Corvette. Well, life and work and raising babies got in the way of that dream until I spotted a 1995 Corvette convertible on eBay in Florida. The car was someone's baby, the price was right, and since I'm in Michigan getting it home would be a fun adventure so I put in a bid.
The nervousness kicked in when I realized I'd just spent a butt-load of money across the internet on a car I'd never seen! The many photos the seller supplied along with his cell phone number, the Carfax service, and the seller's perfect eBay rating calmed my fears and I followed through with my promise.
EVERYTHING was as described. The paint gleamed. The engine purred. The Bose radio blasted. I went out of my way to bring her home through the Blue Ridge Parkway, and some side roads in NC, VA, and WV. a total of 1580 for the trip. From Ft Lauderdale to home I listened to classic rock CDs, screamed through corners, hammered all 6 gears, and all the while getting 26.23 miles per gallon. A couple times while gassing up guys would strike up conversations about the car. One said, "You actually bought it on eBay and now you're driving across America! Cool!!"
There are a few downsides to this tale. One is out-waiting the Michigan winter hoping for dry pavement so I guess I'll use the time to polish and personalize the car a little. Also 5 or 6 of my buddies 'hate' me because they're still driving SUVs and minivans. And one of our secretaries told me, "I'd look good in that car"!

She flys. I have wanted a Vette all my life. This one was very well cared for. I am able to reap the rewards of a meticulous seller. I never thought I would ever buy a car on e-bay. You have to take a chance and do your homework. She is a Black Beauty and handles great. Lovin this ride. I had a wonderful seller too so this made all the difference in the world.
