1984 Chevrolet Corvette

This review is about the experience w/ buying the vehicle and NOT the vehicle, itself. I had very little experience in buying a car via ebay or the internet, and Vision Custom Car was AWESOME!! Jared walked me through the process, answered all my questions, was very responsive, and a pleasure to work with. If I ever buy a car this way again, I would check with Jared to see if he has what I am looking for. I would want to try and give him the repeat business. If one is looking for to buy from him, I would tell you not to hesitate one second. Again, the communication was great! Thanks.

We are having so much fun in our new car and the dealer we bought it through was honest and they were very sweet and very helpful. All of our friends love the car and want to play with it all the time. WE LOVE THIS VETTE!!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy one!!! It's fun to get in and out of because the seats are so low you fall in and climb out of them!!!!!! Good luck to all buyers.

Now for alot of us hard working folks out there, owning a corvette isn't even close in the big picture.
Wasn't to me until I won this on EBAY. A little sceptic YES! Is this for real? YES!
Next was am I going to get a lemon? What about all the bad things said about the crossfire engine?
Well, here is what I think.
1. No matter what car/truck you buy at this year, you need to consider the cost of parts and even a full rebuild. ?? I thought about it and thought what better car to rebuild, and put a bid on it.
2. My friend discouraged me because of the problems with the crossfire engine, but it had to run for someone in order to put on the production line and sell it? It's still running today? I upped my bid!
3. A car is like a dog, your best friend when doing good and a pain in the butt when it's not, no matter what breed or make! I but another bid on it!
4. I have a shop, I have a awesome truck and car trailer and a husband who thinks I am a red headed crazy girl, It took me about 5 minutes to say the heck, I will fly out to Florida and drive it back to Kansas surely if anything goes wrong with it in a 1500 mile trip I'll know and doing the job I do I have to have trust in people everyday and I have always wanted a vet so what the hell, I put the winning bid in!

Well, I always wanted a Corvette, So I purchased an 84 Corvette that seemed like a good deal, but needed a lot more attention than what was described. I purchased the car because I was told in te auction description that the only problem was that the radio didnt work. When I brought the car home after purchasing plane fare, driving expenses, time lost from work that the car had a lot more problems than described. The motor had a serious water leak. If I looked at the selling photos carefully, there was a puddle under the car.( $600.00 to repair) The brakes were bad. ($240.00 to repair) The alternator went out a week after I bought it. ( 190.00 to repair) The rear window defroster was broken. ($90.00 to repair) The registration required 6 trips to the DMV. The car still needs another $600.00 of more work done!!!
Don't give feedback till you drive it for a couple of days.
I was forced into giving positive feedback before I left the sellers property, or he wouldn sell me the car. It was entrapment. ( No wonder the seller had a good feedback rating!!! )
The car looked very well kept, but don't judge a car by it's looks like I did.
I was told that the car was in immaculate condition. The car appeared to look like it was well kept. It ran well, but found out that it had huge mechanical issues after 3 days. Overall, it's a fine looking ride, but any car looks good when a cheap paint job covers up all cosmetic flaws.
I have spent $12,000.00 on a car, then the repairs that is actually worth $6,000.00, at best that still has issues.
Be very careful when purchasing a car on Ebay.
I will never buy another car off Ebay, nor take a car sellers word for anything!
So, be very careful about what you are buying. Car history reports doesnt cover shade tree mechanics either. So, dont judge car history reports for the upkeep on a car. It helps, but dont justify what condition the car is in, or what has been done to the car.
I am not saying not to buy a car on Ebay, but look at it, drive it & don't give immediate feedback. I hope this helps on your next purchase of the 2nd most expensive asset that you own! (A house is # 1.)

I like the 1984 vette, the rims, the color. I didn't like electric fan not working. It was a great deal.
