66 is undeniably the best bang for the buck in the bigblock category of the c-2 corvettes if you want to drive one ..Love these cars and they don"t carry the pricey selling $$$of the 67s or the rarity of the 65 396 cars.

This car is NOT for the faint of heart ... It is NOT intended for long summer drives on the highway , either... This is a car that was made strictly for "hauling a**"...
These are fantastic cars for cruising and the occasional hammering of the pedal.. Shows, cruise ins , etc, etc. There is NOTHING that can compare to this car, nothing.. - And I've owned them ALL, i.e. Small block Mid Years,Chevelles, Camaros, GTO's, 55,56,57 Chevys, Mopars , and yes believe it or not even a Mustang... Yes, I know, I was weak, once.
Every time I just look out in the garage a sense of " I can't believe I own this thing " comes over me. When I drive it, it's a feeling of every nerve being aware !! People wave, kids yell, I've even had people follow me to where I was going just to find out "If it's a REAL 427 car " " Yes, as a smile runs over my face .. ALL REAL, and ALL ORIGINAL !!
These 427 Vettes are legends, and only a few will ever know what it's really like, but if you get the chance, never pass up a ride ... It will blow your mind !! And if you get the chance to own one ??/ Do whatever it takes to INVEST... It will be so worth it later, in so many ways !!! Enjoy, protect and restore them.

Great looking car. Great for its time. Very hot in the summertime with out air conditioning. I had a few of these and still kept one.
