1964 Chevrolet Corvette

This is my second 64 Vette, I love the car. Quality control was pretty good in 64. Of course since the 2009's are out, this is a 45 year old car. The condition and performance are great, it will still get you a speeding ticket if you want one, but you have to realize that while Corvettes are sports cars, the 64's ride like a truck. The seats are better than sitting on the floor, but not a whole lot. I bought it because I've wanted another one for years. Now I've got another one and it's more fun than the first one ever was. It's only got 68,000 miles on it which isn't bad for being 45 years old. It's been fairly well maintained and only needs some TLC to bring it back to new condition. The 64's were muscle cars, a big motor with seats and a steering wheel. Other than a PCV valve, there was no Govt. mandated polution control back then. Of course the drum brakes never were up to stopping it nearly as fast as the motor would get it going. Overall, it's in great shape and I would have bought this one again. It's got the special high performance motor, 365 horses that still have no trouble running away from the Mustangs. I'm replacing anything that needs to be replaced, (not much) with original parts. I've only had it for for a month and it's already won a '1st in Show' trophy. Due to the design, it's sort of fun to open the gas cap and be able to actually see all of that expensive gas in the tank!

I purchased a 1964 Corvette from International Auto Group of Florida and was very dissatisfied. The owners ..Stu and Artie... were deceptive and misleading in describing the actual condition of the car that I purchased from them. They told me that all the car needed was paint and minor assembly of the parts that were off the car. They did not send the car complete with such items as an entire emergency brake (totally missing), turn signal, front grill, trim rings and center caps for the wheels. When the car arrived..I had to install a battery and starter once it was off the transporter. The ignition was also hanging out attached to a loose wire. I would not recommend that anyone do business with a company that misrepresents products and do not support their customers.

The man I bought this car from lied to me. it has a lot problems that I asked about before I bid on it. and he assured me that it was ok. the least of witch are that the hood that I bought the car for was a 63 it is not it is a 64. the big problem is that the title VIN# and the VIN# on the car don't match I hope that ebay will do something about this
