What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The car was a good price for a project. I really didn't expect much but I surely got my moneys worth. The motor is solid and does not leak. The body is in remarkable condition. The interior is salvageable. The bad news is the automatic transmission needs rebuilt and the air conditioner needs new parts to be usable. We have done quite a lot work already. I'm retired and this car gave me a chance to reexperience the fun of a muscle car.

The car was exactly as described. A monster motor, straight body corvette wheels . I bought this car for my brother because his got bent . He loves it . So I love the result . His wife however is not too happy with us . I expect him to take the best of both cars and make the one he wants , then we will sell the remaining pieces on ebay of course . carl

I decided to buy it because it appeared to be in very good shape for a car that was 13 yrs old. And the seller was upfront about what it needed or didn't need (at least that's how he came across). And he said it was ready to drive from coast to coast.
However; there were numerous things that were wrong with the car and didn't find out until I picked it up and drove it home. The wipers hadn't been changed in years, one of the head lights was out, the wiper motor mounts/supports were worn, the coolant needed to be changed as well as the transmission fluid, and he didn't even gas it up. Now I know these aren't huge, but they did become enourmous when it was known that it was going to be raining up/down the east coast. I had to find a car parts store and get the wipers changed just to be able to see where I was going and make it home. The other things I eventually took care of when I got home and thourougly went thru the car. Now it is a car worth owning/driving.

I bought the car cause I wanted a convertible and I had one like it before.
The description was very poor car needs lots of work and needs exterior parts replaced.
Pieces were broken mirriros were broken adn seats were torn.
Needs new tires and that he said were new.
Just an all around bad description.....and things he should have mentioned he didnt I did drive it back home and made it but not very happy with my purchase had to replace the top as soon as I got it. Just bad deal learned a great lesson........

My overall experience was good i wanted to buy a project car for my son & i to build a hot rod. After looking at several cars on carlots, enternet, etc, i noticed that to get one in my price range was to ebay.I looked at several before bidding was very scared to bid on a vehicle w/out seeing it in person but i did and for the most part car is nice but the description was not real accurate apperance wise it looks good but i specifcally asked about tires & transmission was told both were fine & tires were bald & transmission was burnt but after talking it over w/car owners we came to an agreement but had i not gone pickup the car myself iwould have been very upset i bought the car but i suggest going look at car 1st. Note these were good people & were more than willing to make it a good transaction.

I bought it after looking at several cars at dealers. they were not willing to negotiate and their cars were no where near as nice as this one. in short they were unrealistic.

When I saw this car on ebay I fell in love with it. I never bought anything on ebay before but I watched it and got it at a great price!!!.

I wanted a mid-life crisis car for the summer and got the t-topped throaty
sports car I wanted with chrome rims,5 speed,zr tires, nice paint job and well cared for inside and out.

the only thing I might change is the exhaust sound, i like it but it tends to
drown out the bass when cruisin' to Barry White tunes. but it sure sounds great, so i am torn..

Cars this old tend to have very shaky front ends but this car is tight and smoooooooth on the highway and back roads. also parts will need to be replaced. I will need to replace the oil pan soon since the car sat for a couple of years so it is rusting some.

all in all the car is great. I see it as and investment as i could sell it for much more. the longer it stays in good shape the more it will become a classic.

Thank You

Bob Frisch

We have had several Camaros with the LT1 engine. They have one of the best stock performance motors available. They are fast and reliable, and have many easy and inexpensive ways to improve their performance. They make driving an experience, not just a way to get from point A to point B.
