2010 Chevrolet Camaro

I placed an order for my 1SS 6-speed coupe on the first day the order bank opened on 10/13/08. This Silver/Orange stripes SS arrived in late May, but the dealer asked if he could keep the car to show for 90 days since every Camaro he got in was gone from the lot within an hour of being dropped off of the hauler! I finally took delivery the first of September and have been thrilled with this car. I was a GM dealer from 1970-87 and during that time you were not wise to purchase ANYTHING American made during the first year of production. GM has remedied that stigma with the 2010 Camaro; they got it right from the beginning. As I do with all the performance cars I purchase, I headed to VIRginia Int'l Raceway for a "test drive" once I accumulated 1,000 miles on the clock. While heavy feeling and a little cumbersome in the corners, I was amazed at the instantaneous availability of power and capabilities of the Brembo brakes! It truly reminded me of driving my C5 Hardtop coupe! A couple of road trips have proven this car to be comfortable and fuel efficient, but you better not be picking your nose in traffic, 'cause you will get busted! You would also be wise to keep your windows up, increase your radio volume and your eyes straight ahead while in bumper to bumper traffic as you will garner all sorts of hoots and hollers from surrounding gawkers! I jumped for joy upon reading in Motor Trend this month that Chevy is planning to build the S/C'd Z28 as a 2012 model and I immediately made my way down to my dealer to place an order! Love this car, but the XM Satellite radio experience has been a pain in the butt!

great car. rides and drives super. more then i expected. body styling is retro yet upto date. engine performance is amazing. interior leather is very nice. gauge layout is easy to read. ocerall, i think the new camaro will be a hot itme now and in years to come.

IM A YOUNG GRANDPA OF SIX WHO COULD NOT AFFORD,AS A YOUTH A MUSCLE CAR IN THE 60`S.I HAVE OWNED EVERY LUXURY CAR OVER THE YEARS AND WHEN THINKING WHAT I WANTED THIS GO-AROUND I THOUGHT OF THE BEAUTIFUL NEW CAMARO...AND WHEN I DID IT MADE ME SMILE...WHAT DID I NEED THE BIG LUXURY SEDANS FOR ANYMORE???...SO I WENT TO SEVERAL DEALERS AND THEY SMILED AND WOULD ONLY TAKE AND ORDER WHICH THEY COULD NOT EVEN REPRESENT WHEN OR EVEN IF IT WOULD BE FILLED.SO I WENT ON EBAY AND AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS..FOUND AND WAS ABLE TO BUY "MY BUMBLE BEE" YELLOW 2SS RS WITH ALL THE OPTIONS...I BOUGHT IT WITH "BUY IT NOW" AND HAD IT SHIPPED 500 MILES. IN A WEEK IT WAS AT MY DOOR.I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT...AFTER ALL IT WAS NOT AN EXPENSIVE CAR!AND GM NOT DOING TO WELL BANKRUPTCY AND ALL??? BUT I DID IT. WOW TO MY SURPRISE THIS CAR IS AWSOME!!! ITS VERY FAST,CONTROLS EXTREMELY WELL,IS QUIET YET PURRS,STOPS ON A DIME AND PERFORMS AS WELL AS ANY BIG TICKET EURO SPORTS CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!I SENT IT TO A CUSTOM SHOP HAD A NEW TWO TONE YELLOW-BLACK INTERIOR WITH SS&CAMARO EMBLEMS AND "LAMBO" VERTICLE DOORS INSTALLED...THE LAST THING WAS WINDOW TINTING AND COOL AIR INTAKE MODIFICATIONS WHICH INCREASED THE HORSEPOWER EVEN MORE..OH COLOR MATCHED ENGINE COVER TOO.NOW WHERE EVER I GO PEOPLE WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS INCREDIBLE MACHINE.IF THIS VHICLE IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE NEW GM???
