1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500

I had the dealer move the 7 pin hookup for the trailer lights which normally costs between $54 and $70 dollars here locally and the dealer charged me $290.00

I enjoy the power of the 5.7 motor. I find these older Chevy trucks to be more reliable & less problematic than Fords. I decided to buy it because of the low miles & reasonable price.

I like the miles and the wayne the truck runs.

I don't love any thing about the truck.

My dislikes. 1 said to have new interstate battery it had a dead battery old one. Contacted seller he said by a new one ane send him the bill. Then he would only pay 1/2 the cost of a spec'd out interstate battery cost. 2 Add said NEW tires front tires new the back ones 1/2 wore out! 3 Add said new brakes I took wheels off and brakes are 50 % wore!

I thought I would not win the bid for the last minute bid I put in. But I did.
and I konow now why!

I think the bid was pumped up on the truck.
because all the trucks the seller had on ebay at the time was bid on by a new member and later I say the trucks that was bid on by the seller was again up for sale by the same seller.

Ebay you upset me by letting this type sellers get by with this!

didnt really need the truck but the deal was so sweet i couldnt resist and the truck was perfect condition.

I bought this truck to haul my 5th wheel trailer. It is a very solid vehicle and I got it for a great price on ebay.

I purchased this truck for towing which I can say it does great although I also purchased it because it was 4 wheel drive. I went a very long distance to pick this truck up . It drove fine home ( about 700 miles ) so I assumed everything was fine so I left good feedback. After having it for a week or two I happened to park it in an area that was muddy I thought no problem I'll just put it in four wheel drive, well I did ...... But NO four wheel drive !! This wasn't disclosed in the discription of the truck. I haven't had it checked out yet but looks like it will cost from a low of $300.00 to a high of $1500.00 to repair. Needless to say I hope it's the lower number!I am very upset with the seller that he didn't disclose this problem because if I would have known I would have tried to adjust the price accordingly.
