I bought it to pull a boat. It had a few problems the seller didn't mention which happens on ebay.Overall I 'm happy with my purchase.
It gets great gas milage and rides very nice . I fixed the heater and now it is even warm on cold days.It probably will be reliable once I get all the bugs out of it. I ran out of gas the other day and had to walk a couple of miles and that didn't make me real happy gas gauge didn't work. It looked like it was working, but not accuratly.

Fantastic value. Low miles with comfort and good looking,too. Clean vehicle. Brought fluid levels back up and should receive many safe miles ahead.

I have read some of these reviews and I would have to disagree with any negatives. I bought mine as a second owner and it now has 262,000 miles. Great Little SUV!! Common Scense has to come into play. The clean, well maintained used vehicles are not the majority. You can tell, even on ebay, if they are clean.

I bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer 2Door 4x4 on ebay. I bought it because like many people in my area I hit a deer with my truck and needed to replace quickly. I found this vehicle and it was near me and kind of what I was looking for. The add was very well done but he left out some information. It was represented as being sold by an individual but when I got there it was being sole by a dealer. I had to pay more tax on it because of that. The CD player does not work, Also stated was that the tires had 30% tread left – Wire was coming through the inboard side of two tires. Ad said “Selling for a friend, and has been looked over thoroughly”. I thought I could just buy it and drive it. That has not happened. On the bright side, I really like the vehicle. It looks good and seems to a good solid truck.

Truck has more rattles in it than I am use to. Engine and transmission is strong - 2 door model easy to manuver.

I have owed 3 of these trucks my latest is a 2000 s-10 blazer. It is not horrible on gas and a very fun truck. I was able to move my whole apartment with it and is a versatlie truck.

Hey, It's a used car. I like it because it looks "almost" new. It is White. The seats have wear. It had a problem with the horn but they fixed it. I had to put a new fuel pump in it. It's a 4 wheel drive "and it works". I needed something that was good on gas because I was driving a big van that was not good on gas. I live in the sticks so I'll need the 4 wheel in the Winter. Everybody said I got a deal (if nothing else goes wrong) but hey, It's a used car. It looks good for being 8 yr old.

Don't get me wrong as these trucks are definately worth the investment, especially for someone needing a low budget and reliable V6 4x4. But, you will pay much less if you do know something about the issues that are common to this vehicle.

First off, the body, chassis, engine and transmission are near bullet proof on the S10s. Chevy really knew what they were doing by slapping such a small frame on a rock solid power plant and foundation.

Now to the information you've been waiting for. The biggest and most expensive issue with the 4.3 is the fuel pump and feul sender assembly. This part will start to go after 100k miles and will cost a minimum of $300.00 to install and over $800.00 for new OEM replacement. They do make a decent aftermarket replacement unit for around $109.00 - $120.00 but these can but hit or miss when it comes to quality as they are mass produced overseas and of course are not covered by GM's warrantee. That being said I have installed an aftermarket pump and after 500 miles so far so good. If your fuel gauge starts acting up this is a good indicator of oncoming pump failure. The next big issue for high mileage S10 Blazers are the front end shocks and barings which are regular maintainence problems but will need to be replaced. After 100k miles flush the tranny, change the differential, transfer case fluids, use a good high mileage oil regularly and you should have a good vehicle for another 100k miles.
