1993 Chevrolet Blazer

I have not accepted ownership of this vehicle yet. I won the auction but was very disappointed to find it had several problems not disclosed by the seller. I still would have accepted it as a hard lesson learned IF it would have been capable of making the trip home. The seller stated that it would be capable of driving it home but motor ran very rough and the transmission would not shift out of second gear. If I was lucky enough to get it to shift into third, the transmission would start slipping and would loose speed until it shifted back into second gear. From my experiences it woould have toasted the transmission very quickly and I would have been stranded within 10 miles at best and then be stuck with a very high tow/storage bill. As for this type vehicle, I have owned several and love these body styles. Just do not understand why Chevy quit building the full-size Blazers or 2 door Tahoes.

The seller stated the engine was in great shape, although it has major OIL LEAKS, pooling above the Valve covers, and in front below the timing chain, dripping on the ground. Seller stated It may need brake pads soon, on the firt curve I applied the brakes, almost hit the ditch, Very little brakes, probably master cylinder issues. And steering drifts to right and left.

Seller stated he would not have a problem driving the vehicle across country now. If he did I hope he would have had plenty of insurance. Glad I had it transported, Vs Driving it 2200 miles.

And this was from driving it 2 miles from the transporter to my house. Would not recommend this seller to anyone without first looking at the item in person and testing it before purchase.

Won this Blazer for 2g! Flew in to the Airport and they met me with the vehicle! I was gone in less than a hour and haven;t had a problem yet! These guys are great and I appreciate the deal and service if I lived there I'd buy a new vehicle from them!

VERY HAPPY ABOUT THIS GREAT DEAL. DESCRIPITON WAS RIGHT. DROVE AN EXTRA 3 HOURS HOME NO PROBLEM A/C WORKS GOOD. BUT NOT ALL WAS GOOD. THE SELLER FAIL TO MENTION SOMETHING VERY BIG AND SOMETHING THAT HAD TO BE IN THE DISCRIPITON. WHICH WAS OH YA DON'T LOCK THE DOORS BECAUSE THERE'S NO KEY TO OPEN IT JUST TO START IT. FINDING OUT THE HARD WAY AND WITH ALL PAPER WORK, AND MY HUSBAND PULLING UP BEHIND MY OTHER CAR. THINGS JUST GOT WORST. TO HAVE A LOCK SMITH COME OUT THAT WAS A 140.00 JUST SO MY HUSBAND WOULDN'T BE LATE TO WORK. SO THANKS ALOT ARCHIES TOWING MY HUSBAND WORKED FOR FREE THAT DAY. THIS TRUCK NEEDS OVER $1000.00 IN REPAIRS, THAT IS WHY THE SELLER DUMPED IT ON JUNKBAY. EBAY IS A JOKE THAT OFFERS NO PROTECTION FOR A BUYER. EBAY IS A JUNK PEDDLING SYSTEM. THE SELLER DID NOT DISCLOSE ANY OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET PROBLEMS. THE SELLER ALSO PROVIDED A FALSE WARRANTEE THAT HE MADE UP HIMSELF. I HAD TWO REPUTABLE MECHANICS CONFIRM THAT THIS TRUCK DID NOT HAVE A REMANUFACTURED MOTOR AS WAS STATED IN THIS TRUCK'S LISTING BY THE LYING SELLER. FIRST I WAS BURNED ON A CAMARO NOW ON A BLAZER. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE ON JUNK/SCAMBAY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a good overall truck but description was Very bad Said there was a dent in the front and the whole front end was crushed in and needed to be replaced. a/c was said to work but doesn't and 4x4 was said to work and it doesn't either and pictures were taken to hide all the damage. And I felt like I had to purchase the vehicle otherwise negative feedback would accur. Just costed alot more money to fix it up then I thought it would have...

The purchase protection guarantee is not meant to add any security to the purchase. The car was in horrible condition although it was described a a great condition car. After a lengthy process, the auction company adjuster spends his time trying to deny any claim and has all the things that they will not cover including AC, broken glass, smoking, leaking, shaking, dangerous suspension!. Finally I asked what exactly they would cover and it will only cover a specific transmission or engine problem that is over $1500 to repair the problem. They will not cover the cost to diagnose the vehicle but insist on a dealer diagnosis. Buying an Ebay car is just as risky as the as-is sales on the corner used car lot. EBAY Buyer beware!!!

My Seller was deliberately deceitful and I would advise anyone not to buy a car from Dixie Wholesale in Alabama. He's a crook!

An S10 Blazer is a smaller version of the K15 Blazer, which was introduced as competition to the Ford. Bronco. The S10 Blazer shares the same power plant as the S10 pickup and most of the options are the same. Common problems are an engine knock which can be fixed by an oil filter with a check valve, and a late shifting automatic transmission. Relatively cheap and easy repairs, like all GMs, make the Blazer very affordable. The ride is pretty good in the 4 door but lacks in the two door and you can expect to bounce around in the latter model. The S10 Blazer fares below the Bronco in safety, however, it is still around average. The 4.3-liter engine develops considerable torque at low engine speeds, yielding strong acceleration around town, plus plenty of towing power but it's also noisy. Interior noise gets bothersome on the highway. Interior room is good, but not as spacious as an Explorer or Grand Cherokee. Rear leg room is identical in each body style, but the 4-door's longer wheelbase allowed the back seat to be fitted ahead of rear wheel wells, for more hip room than the 2-door. Shift-on-the-fly 4WD and 4-wheel ABS are particularly appealing features. Grand Cherokee and Explorers beat the Blazer in refinement, but the S10 Blazer still is a good choice in a smaller sport utility.

There was nothing to like about this vehicle. It was never checked out before it was sold on e-bay. The motor did not run fine as stated ,Check motor light came on 5 miles down the road. Both front stableizer bars for the 4X4 were broken. and on and on. Cost almost as much to make it safe to drive as it did to buy the vehicle. In all fairness I did recieve a small refund from the purchase price. Make sure you ask questions and have it in writting.
